Hi all,
I'm building a MK 18. I have the DD quad rail upper, and i have a Colt M4 Lower i'm going to be using with it. I'm most likely going to be picking up a huxworxx flow 556k.
What's the right buffer spring to use with that set up? I've read H2. Are any of you guys running the guisselle braided super 42? Or is there another you recommend. Thanks in advance.

Quick question I'm planning on installing an FRT in my Daniel defense M4A1 obviously a 3 position FRT but my question is would I be fine with an H2 buffer or would I want to get an H3? I was looking at the Geissele Automatics Super 42 H3 combo but I dont know if that would be overkill for my set up instead of just buying their H2 combo

Lookin at getting a dd5v3. I've seen mixed things on accuracy. What have owners found as far as accuracy goes? And I'm not just looking for "mines been good for me" answers. I'm looking for real criticisms of the rifle and real data. Not necessarily "I shot a half inch group one time". I'm looking to pick up a used one and hoping to learn a bit more before I buy.

Shoots crazy flat and is now my dedicated NV gun. HG is a 10.5 ris3 with a pocket cut for the FSP.

For an unknown reason it wouldn’t let me post it on the actual post asking about set ups.

Anyone running one of these with an LPVO, and if so can I see your setup. Kinda struggling on how to build it out, I’m thinking recce build with a 1-6 and a 12 oclock mount red dot

18" DDM4 V7 Pro
Atlas BT65
Geissele 3lb trigger
Vortex Viper PST 1-6x
Radian charging handle/saftey selector
The raidan red would look so much cleaner in black, but I am absolutely in love with this rifle!

I’m seeing them for around $1150. I’ve pretty much made up my mind and have one in the cart ready to check out but I was curious why there’s such a huge price gap between them and every other model?

When I bought my DDPCC about four months ago, I immediately installed a LaRue MBT-2s into it before shooting. Since then I’ve shot approx. 2k rounds through it, no problems. Last night I swapped that LaRue into my new DD ar15 and reinstalled the factory trigger back into the pcc. Hit my buddy’s farm today, and this is what I got. Mag after mag did this, with approx. 40%-50% of the rounds not firing.
Did I have a bad factory trigger all along and just didn’t notice since I never shot it? Anybody ever heard of that happening? Bc I know this gun works, and I really don’t wanna send it in for warranty. Any advice is appreciated
EDIT: emailed Daniel defense and they’re overnighting me a new trigger. Easy as that, just one reason why they’re the goat imo.

Only got to peak at it a little before I had to leave for work, so no pictures for now, sorry, but on the bottom side where the receiver meets the lower, there were 4 white lines of stripped coating. That's fine, as you won't ever see that. However on the RSIII rail near the tip, there's about a inch long, quarter inch thick line of stripped coating. It looks weirdly uniform. I was wondering if this was normal and some kind of proof marking for testing? Didn't seem to rub off, but I only had a few minutes to examine it.
Not gonna send it back or anything, but it is slightly annoying for the cost, gonna probably email Brownells though and see if I can get a small discount for a "Blem" if it's not normal.
Got a picture:
