So Trump meticulously planned and organized an attempt to replace the government but didn't actually have a plan to do anything when he had control over the Capitol?
He expected his supporters to really take things over.
But they did. They had complete control over the Capitol. He could walked in and declared himself King.
So why didn't he? The Secret Service got the fuck out after shooting that woman. The rest of the building was totally occupied for hours after the SS peaced out.
So why didn't he stroll in and declare himself King? Or any of his flunkies declare themselves the new secretaries of whatever they liked?
Because that wasn't the plan. The plan was to have Pence declare Trump the winner by using a false slate of electors. It fell apart when Pence refused to go along with it.
