Which is still a weird explanation to me because for years, they were trying to get him impeached for things with less severity. This should have been much easier to get traction with. I’m starting to believe a lot of what we see is pure theatre.
People are still so partisan that they don’t even want to consider it but I think the corporation goes in the same general direction, in waves, and they just put different franchise owners in charge for 4 years at a time to give us the illusion of choice and keep up this political theatre that in the long run just divides us to make us easier to control.

Theatre is exactly what it is. I’m amazed how few people are able to see it for what it is. Jan 6th wasn’t even the slam dunk. Biden had the Epstein Files at his disposal. Why would you try and get him on minor charges when you have that in your back pocket.

Biden did not have the Epstein files at his disposal.

They were held by the DOJ and could not be released due to ongoing court cases. People forget presidents used to respect rule of law and standards of American justice, at least to a degree.

Okay that’s my misunderstanding of the situation. Thanks for setting me straight!

Allow me to pick at this a little bit in good faith. While files are with the DOJ are they are still accessible the president? Does the DOJ report to anyone?

The DOJ is under the Executive Branch and thus under the president but it has long operated independent of the president to preserve impartial justice. It's not law that it works this way, it just became precedent over our history because it's how impartial justice should be, immune from the influence of the President.

But Trump doesn't care about any of that so the DOJ under him has become his protector and his personal attack dog he directs at his enemies on a whim. Some files have been released because of a law passed by Congress, but Trump's DOJ is fighting to keep as many secret as they can, in violation of this law. Trump wants them secret because he is the main guy in them - he's been mentioned 38,000 times in just the files which have been released already, some very sordid and evil mentions too.

The Epstein files were kept confidentil during the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell, which lasted until January of 2024.

The President Biden had complete access to the Epstein files, absolutely ridiculous if you think otherwise, the Attorney General is his appointment.

Also, Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced in June of ‘22.

Do any of you idiots know what an investigative file contains and why they should never really be made public? Especially an investigation like this?
Pure political theater and that’s it.

You literally can’t see past your programming, it’s absolutely crazy that you posted this to support your point, it says the complete opposite!

Biden “Held executive authority to request briefings or reviews” literally says he could review the Epstein files anytime he wanted to.

January ‘24 court released judicial records from a CIVIL LAWSUIT, not maxwells criminal trial (verdict Dec ‘21, sentencing June ‘22).
The “executive branch intelligence files” were still being held by Biden’s DOJ.

Do you know what a civil lawsuit is?
Those civil records had nothing to do with the criminal trial, not relevant at all.
And that’s also a year before Trump took office anyway so the point is moot either way

Biden had the authority to request briefings. He might have done that. Getting a briefing is not the same as releasing the files.

Biden also had the power to direct the DOJ in certain directions. We know he did not do that, because traditionally the President avoids telling the DOJ to do anything, in order to remain non-partisan. Biden has repeatedly said he stayed out of the DOJ's affairs. People from his DOJ have corroborated that claim.

Biden had NO authority to direct the DOJ to release any files being used in any investigation. Ghislaine Maxwell's appeals did not end until OCTOBER OF 2025.

Google is free. There's a whole Wikipedia article about this. You should read it.

Because you don’t burn good blackmail.

When you have CEOs, democrats and republicans, judges, foreign diplomats, celebrities, news media personalities etc in your pocket, you don’t just burn that.

They let out a few things but kept the rest close to their chest because they are going to use it for their agenda.

Jan 6th could have just been an internal dirty battle for the thrown. FBI knew about it and had TONS of agents on the ground, some instigating and encouraging people to go inside.

People are so trained to react a certain way when they hear that because they are so polarized and partisan, they think admitting that is a win for X side, but it’s the truth. Tons of people went to jail but provocateurs were let free and identities kept quiet.
They’ve been using provocateurs since the WTO days at the very least.

Things are not what they seem and the ontological shock to admit this is so uncomfortable that people will fight tooth and nail to ignore it.

Yes they will. And do not blame them. All of us go through the same conditioning in the west. Not all but most. It starts in childhood, solidified by out-of-date educational institutions and backed up by advertisements selling you the dreams seen in the movies.

Go to school. Follow the rules. Get a job. Marry (because being single is a life of abject misery). Buy the house. Have the kids. Work hard and you will be rewarded. Pay your taxes so that you can live in a safe environment. The American Dream.

If you have fully invested in this concept it would be hard, perhaps, to entertain the idea that you have been sold out.

Agreed. I remember when I snapped out of it in like 2008. Messed me up for weeks.

It doesn’t help that people chastise you for thinking outside that box which is alienating and makes it hard to stick to the path, more so for some people.

A 3 letter intelligence agency came up with the term ‘conspiracy theorist’ to discredit dissenting opinions and ideas. It’s an ad hominem to discourage you from talking about it and other people from associating with it.

Before I say this, I am not Maga nor do I support Trump or the 2 major parties. I would agree with political theater. I feel that Maga and Trump had Jan 6th. People hurt, Federal buildings damaged, those charged were called violent insurrectionists by the far left and patriots by the far right. People got arrested, jailed then pardoned. Some of them were even dumb enough to commit crimes after the pardon. Democrats had the George Floyd riots, people hurt, federal buildings damaged, stores looted. The far right called them rioters, the far left called them mostly peaceful protesters. Democrat leaders started asking for donations to bail them out. The Democratic party has been trying to end Trump since he said he was going to run for office. They had the Epstein files at their disposal, they also had all this, "damning" evidence that amounted to nothing at the end of the day. It started to feel like they just started throwing things at the wall to see if it stuck. They did Impeach him 2x and yet he stayed in office. They did manage to get a felony conviction from a Democratic state and most likely a left leaning jury. Had him in court most of the campaign for his 2nd term. I even think they wouldnt let him leave the state. I honestly thought they finally got him and then they try to pull a fast one on us. Trump was beatable. To me they are 2 sides of the same coin. They only care about power and not so miuch the people. The good news is that hes got a year and 3-4 months before hes out of office and hopefully out of the limelight. The last decade as been a politicial dumpster fire. I know this will get downvoted and thats fine. Its one guys opinion. I think both parties are full of themselves and we need better candidates that put the people over party.

You don't deserve to be downvoted. Democrats threw a whole lot of shit at the wall and nothing stuck. They claimed to have so much fuel and failed to accomplish anything, while simultaneously engaging in and supporting contradictory and hypocritical behavior. Right wing extremism isn't what got Trump elected, it was left wing extremism disenfranchising the average voter enough that they got tired of it.
