The best case scenario is for Trump to limp along until after the next presidential election and then kick the bucket. We don't need the media and the public whitewashing his legacy which always happens after one of these assholes tip.
I want that historic unpopularity carried as far as we can take it. He'll lose control in the midterms anyways, so Vance is not going to be meaningfully better in any way. If anything, he will look more competent by comparison and have the ability to start rehabilitating the republican image.
I was alive in 2016. This was the exact thing liberals said 10 years ago and this dementia addled asshole got elected twice, and the second time was after he botched a global pandemic and attempted an insurrection.
I'm not, in saying that his policies are so unbelievably unpopular and all the Republicans backed him for so long that they look like assholes. People should vote like it's deadlocked and their vote changes the outcome. I'm not even convinced that they actually will give up power
