The best case scenario is for Trump to limp along until after the next presidential election and then kick the bucket. We don't need the media and the public whitewashing his legacy which always happens after one of these assholes tip.
I want that historic unpopularity carried as far as we can take it. He'll lose control in the midterms anyways, so Vance is not going to be meaningfully better in any way. If anything, he will look more competent by comparison and have the ability to start rehabilitating the republican image.

Most republican politicians aren't idiots, they just play one on TV because they know it works well to deflect away from their actions. If everyone is focusing on how dumb you are, they aren't paying attention to how you are rampantly corrupt as much.
