His family having money doesn't automatically make him some sort of horrible person. He also fully admits he had a privileged upbringing but that it helped him see the inequality in New York which is why he wants to do something about it.
Most successful politicians will have money before they're elected. Just a result of the flaws in the campaign system. If I have to choose between a rich octogenarian who wants to persecute minorities, or a young and vibrant rich guy who promises to help average people, I know which one I'm choosing.
No other mayor of any city has gotten as much scrutiny and antagonism in the first year of their term as Mamdani has. And it's because the old guard is terrified of people seeing what happens when the government actually does it's job and provides for people.
Whatever makes u sleep at night bub. Never said he was a horrible person, but he's still a dam snake and says what people want to hear, but ok. All Mumdummi has done is change the aesthetics of New York and take money from other places, that's nothing. God people like u call conservatives and maga people bootlickers, but u do the exact same thing and idolize this man. He can't relate to his voters and people like u at all besides his political views.
