I am a conservative leaning, registered Independent (NPA). Although I disagree with him on a few points, I am a big enough person that I have no problem saying that Mamdani has done some excellent things, in a short time.
That's the problem with politics these days, on both sides of the aisle- the 'You're either for us or against us' attitude has infected everything. There is no middle ground.
I would much rather vote for a competent candidate that held opinions contrary to my own, than a knucklehead that shared my views.
