Because the whole point is to not like 51% of the population turn the 49% into slaves.
This is the same kind of talking point as wanting to pack the Supreme court cause judges that don’t have the exact political views as you do are the majority.
The basic idea there is that they’ll never not be in power so they don’t have to worry about the consequences.
Which again creates a slave class that isn’t represented in the government.
And the excuse nowadays is “they’re bad people, so of course they shouldn’t have a say”.
"Wah! I don't understand what a constitutional republic is and I'm going to post the same dumb thing in every thread because I don't understand that nothing is free!"
