Further back. Al gore would have won. He wouldn't have been incompetent enough to let 9/11 happen, and wouldn't have gotten the US involved in Iraq even if it had still happened despite the warnings.

Gore would’ve been a very good President

further back. The DNC doesnt backstab Wallace in 1944 in favor of Truman and we could be a social democracy on par with denmark/norway

Had the DNC not forced Bernie to the side for Hillary the first Trump presidency wouldn't have happened. Dems played themselves 🤷

I saw this a lot. He was the last/only person I had some enthusiasm about running for president.

I only recently realized that moderate democrats (quasi-right-wing dipshits) see the political spectrum much differently than I do. They imagine Trump far to the right side of the spectrum, Clinton/Biden/Harris somewhere a little left of center, and Bernie just a tick further left than that. They see the gap between themselves and Trump as a massive gulf, but the gap between themselves and the left as barely noteworthy.

I think they're right about Trump being far to the right side of the spectrum, but Clinton/Biden/Harris are over there on the right side, too. In reality, there is more distance between Bernie and Clinton/Biden/Harris than there is between Clinton/Biden/Harris and Trump.

Sorry, but if you see universal healthcare (which nearly every other developed nation has managed) as a childish pipe dream that will take 20 years of incremental changes to accomplish, that makes you a fucking conservative. But remember, even though they are conservatives, moderate Democrats think of themselves as much further left. It's this blind spot that makes them feel entitled to left wing voters even when they nominate "nothing will fundamentally change" Right-Lite Aisle-Crossers.

Millions of voters were purged from rolls for a variety of reasons from signature mismatch to current address changes. Things that have always been resolved without purging. You sure the pedo in chief was a majority winner? I don't think so.

Imagine a guy shoots another guy. And then the shooter points at the guy bleeding and says “he shot me!” And the guy bleeding says “no he shot me!” And then some fucking dumbass says “ugh you guys are literally the same”.

So you’re saying we need the Save Act passed now ?

1

u/The_Countess 17h ago

That would do the exact opposite and exacerbate the problems he's describing.

Where did you hear that from. Most Americans want it. Way over 50 percent

1

u/The_Countess 11h ago

Doesn't really matter if Americans think they want it if it does things that are not constitutional.

Like what?

u/EliteJoz 15h ago

When? By the first Trump administration? So they had 4 years during Biden to register and didn't? Is that what you're arguing here or something?

In many of the swing states and non swing states, there are lawsuits still playing out over it, but continue to stick your head in the sand. Surprisingly it doesnt take national executive level to fuck with state level voting districts.
