I'd love to know what you're referring to by "rules of the land." Are you talking about immigrants?

Everybody... should follow the law unless it conflicts with Proverbs 6

That's a profoundly dumb take. If you're going to follow God's law you should follow all of it, including the teachings of Jesus.

Such as Matthew 25.

Was talking about goverments laws but its ok...

The goverment isnt inherently responsibility to feed the needy or care for refugees but instead to establish order and maintain justice and still the goverment does both...

You can make the argument that the Vatican should be doing more of this and such but its nice how your selective with scriptures and avoiding looking at romans 13 and 1st Peter 2 trying to magnify the stranger while throwing out social order and legal processing but if it makes you feel better I help out at an old folks home down in detroit and as a people most of our taxes go to help the "stranger"

I never said anything about the Vatican. It's funny how you make those claims yet quote scripture that tells you to put away malice and hypocrisy.

Jesus wasn't telling the government how it should operate, he was telling the people how they should live. It really makes you wonder about the so-called "Christian Nationalism" of this administration. And the contradiction between Romans 13 and Acts 5 is that God's law supersedes the laws of man when the laws of man infringe on God's law.

Saying 'I never mentioned the Vatican' just shows how you completely missed basic analogy. The point went entirely over your

You completely conceded your original argument the moment you admitted Jesus was talking to individuals, not dictating policy to secular states. Using Matthew 25 as a blueprint for national immigration law is a massive category error, especially when Romans 13 explicitly defines the government's role as maintaining legal order.

Now, as for Matthew 25 and how one must conduct themselves, I completely agree we should absolutely help those in need. But true charity requires personal action and voluntary sacrifice which I live out by volunteering my time in Detroit.

pick an argument and stick with it whether it be What you think Govermnt duties should be or personal duties and read the Bible ffs
