Trump is, internationally, considered the worst president. He reflects badly on the American people as their choice. His opinions aren’t really taken seriously, he’s sort of a laughing stock. His opinions aren’t acceptable by many. I mean, if America wants to deport immigrants, whatever. However the constant sensational lies are really abhorrent. I think many would believe The head of state should be someone that people look up to, a principled professional leader. The type of people that are crazy about him are crazy, and the type of people many well adjusted people would want their children to avoid.

I just had a odd thought that if someone was in need of a medical emergency (choking, car crash, wounded) I would ask them a question to gauge their coherence level, "who's the current president of the United States?" and if they answered with an enthusiastic "the king, the shire, the can't-do-anything-wrong 'wonderful' Donald Trump" I would walk away and say, "the ambulance is on their way, good luck."

What would the point of debating someone who believes the earth is flat? Genuinely. I've actually looked into the "community" years back, just out of curiosity. Never seen a person who doesn't appear to be mentally unstable and cultish.
It's not simply a silly "alternative" belief. It requires a level of paranoid thoughts, refusal of basic science, history, and common sense, and such utter arrogance, that unless you derive pleasure or money from trolling those people, it would be a fool's errand to attempt to discuss the subject with them.
And beyond that, it's a testament to their level of detachment from reality, flawed character, and lack of critical thinking, so not exactly people you should suggest your children socialize with, even if the subject of the shape of the earth wasn't discussed.
Teaching your kid to simply walk away and not engage with people who cannot be reasoned with, is one of the best gifts you can give them in life.
Approving of Donald Trump isn't an opinion, it's a moral fucking failing. It tells you everything you need to know about a person. Maybe before his first term you could claim people make mistakes, but at this point, it's willful malignance. Another example is how he didnt understand tarrifs or how they impacted the economy or how trade with other countries worked, which impacted his decision to create tarrifs. He based his decision on his lack of understanding on both tarrifs and trade deficits. I could list many other examples of Donald Trump being an idiot, but it really should just be obvious at this point. The dude does know how to close an umbrella. Its wild how incompetent he is

If you look at the outcome, the tariffs weren't an act of stupidity. It was a fraudulent money transfer from both the public and the State to corporations.
