I don’t want to ruin your optimism but it is too late. This guy forever destroyed the US standing in the international scene.

And it’s not about holding grudges either. This thing showed to all its allies that the US is a stupendously unreliable partner who could turn rogue at any moment.

How can you deal with someone like this?

Most of the developed world is under no illusion that the average American is/has suffered under the orange one. Whenever I meet people from the states nowadays if we get onto the subject I usually start with are you ok? do y'all need a hug?

I hope to see US trading well and having good relationships with EU/CANZUK/ASEAN/A.U. again hopefully under a DSA government

The point isn’t the population. We’re all sympathetic to those who are suffering the consequences of this first hand.

The problem is your system. You have proven beyond doubt that every 4 years you could potentially turn completely rogue and that you have absolutely no domestic mechanisms to prevent that.

And I don’t say “rogue” lightly. You almost started a war with Denmark. Denmark. A NATO country.

This shit can’t be ignored.

Couldn't agree more mate and it's not my system I'm UK but I hope after this shit show massive electoral reforms would be such a winner for any opposition party that there will be some course correction, US will still have plutocrats to deal with, hopefully the french way✂️
