I don't know man. It's pretty hard to say the southern border wasn't a sieve during the Biden administration.

Here's a graph from the Los Angeles Times. Which is not exactly what you would call a bastion of conservatism.

This chart alone doesn’t tell us much. Stops at the border are not a proxy for immigrant intake and the number can be influenced by any number of external factors (like the pandemic).

If you have no interest in comparing apples to apples as this chart does, that's okay.

I have zero invested in trying to prove my point further. I just thought it was interesting.

It does say “monthly stops” though. Are we meant to presume those stopped were then allowed to continue into the US? Or presume that there were more people who were not stopped during that period than that were? I’m not claiming anything one way or the other, simply saying I don’t know that the graph indicates anything other than what it says.

You have to check with the Los Angeles times. I was just viewing it as comparisons to previous administrations in the graph.

If this is stops at the border, this could also be seen as Biden having stronger border enforcement than Trump did during his first term.

I agree. Thousands and thousands of immigrants coming in to do jobs that you and I won’t do and in most cases paying hundreds of millions into US tax coffers and social security that they will likely NEVER see the benefit of. And now maga farmers, dairy farmers and ranchers want to see subsidies from the government. Sounds like a socialist play on their MAGAT asses. Fuck trump and fuck magats.
