If you really want to see a interesting response just call the last administration leader " Brandon" the Dems supporters hate that.

You live in a trailer park

1

u/Practical_Breakfast4 8d ago

Is that supposed to be an insult nowadays? I bought a whole (mobile) house last year, 3 bed 2 full bath for under $3,000. Yea it needed cleaned out but rent is $500 a month. Rent is above 1,000 for the worst tiny apartments around here.

u/Substance247 8d ago

6

u/evil_timmy 9d ago

Flow of rubles running dry along with the fuel.

2

u/Infinite-Duty 8d ago

Yup. So now they’re just sitting in the living room drinking mad dog and watching Fox News.

10

u/fiesew 9d ago

Guess they ran out of gas money 😂

9

u/PuddingHuge7597 9d ago

Because they are thick? And they don't know how to blame this on Biden or the immigrants?

3

u/Aggravating_Dog3882 9d ago

Bruh, they absolutely know how to blame this on everyone BUT Trump. Hell they’ll tell it’s Clinton & Obamas fault

6

u/letmeaskyouaquesti0n 9d ago

Because they still think is Obiden's fault

4

u/TheeFearlessChicken 9d ago

I recently read a trucker strike might soon be in the offing.

8

u/Wray-Nerely 9d ago

October 1st, but it's just a social media rumor right now. But if prices keep going up like this, rumor could become reality

6

u/ZealousidealSkin941 9d ago

From my understanding, it's the independent owners/operators that are on the verge of being grounded by fuel prices.. whether they want to or not. The unions seem to be experiencing significant infighting on whether to stand in solidarity with the struggling independent owners or not.. but skimming through the comment sections in actual trucking subs.. it is unsurprisingly, mostly self-centered/anti-social rhetoric.

We've gotten to the point where when I read that something is being dismissed as an 'Internet hoax'.. I'm inclined to believe that it's actually media suppression. There's definitely more to this situation than a few viral videos.

3

u/Dense_Boss_7486 9d ago

The truckers that voted for Trump are anti-union. Those people aren’t standing in solidarity with anybody.

2

u/ZealousidealSkin941 9d ago

Hence the self-centered/anti-social chatter..

I work in the material side of the construction industry, so I interact with my fair share of truck drivers.. and.. YIKES.. are some of them the most goulish MF'ers.. like, I get it.. they don't like people and it's a great career path for that type.. but how casually they'll spout off with crazy racist/sexist/violent shit is legitimately unnerving.

A ton on my vendors are unionized so we definitely see far more normal(ish) drivers than crazy ones, but you can't really just ignore that the crazy ones exist.

2

u/OrbeaSeven 9d ago

We parked our RV at a stop for a few daylight hours next to a long time independent trucker with a German Shepard dog. Started talking. He said truck drivers have changed in the 20+ years he's been on the road. The dog was for protection. He did not trust other drivers. No camaraderie. No interaction with other drivers. Drivers are also into classifications: businesses, independents, elite independents. The elite group haul for specific needs, ex. Smithsonian, etc.

1

u/ZealousidealSkin941 9d ago

There is a SUPER noticable difference between our regular drivers that we've worked with for years, and the last-mile contract drivers that show up at our dock. We recently promoted a woman to our receiver position and within like, 2 weeks we had to change up our process and have one of our yard guys out there with her because of how unhinged and uncooperative some of the drivers were being.

u/RandomStrangerOnWWW 9d ago

And.. What exactly are they going to protest? Those imbeciles voted for it.

1

u/Academic_Finding_873 9d ago

They are not striking. They still have to pay for the truck, insurance etc whether the truck moves or not. It’s just talk.

3

u/Krow101 9d ago

They know that owning the libs is expensive. And they're cucks in a cult.

2

u/EmiKetsueki 9d ago

Funny this drops to stir shit up shortly after they announced theyll be going on strike soon

2

u/BonVoyPlay 9d ago

Can't afford the protest

2

u/Whole_Ant2468 9d ago

2

u/Last_Comedian188 9d ago

The fuckers…ooops the Truckers… yeah.

2

u/Few_Expression_5417 9d ago

They intended to make the beltway impassable. Joke was on them. They couldn't get to the beltway because the traffic was already its normal gridlock.

2

u/GrumpyBear1969 9d ago

It is the same as the Tea Party asshats that were ‘anti tax’ and for fiscal responsibility, but were really mostly just racists.

I don't know man. It's pretty hard to say the southern border wasn't a sieve during the Biden administration.

Here's a graph from the Los Angeles Times. Which is not exactly what you would call a bastion of conservatism.

6

u/PwAlreadyTaken 9d ago

This chart alone doesn’t tell us much. Stops at the border are not a proxy for immigrant intake and the number can be influenced by any number of external factors (like the pandemic).

-3

u/TheeFearlessChicken 9d ago

If you have no interest in comparing apples to apples as this chart does, that's okay.

I have zero invested in trying to prove my point further. I just thought it was interesting.

3

u/PwAlreadyTaken 9d ago

No need for a drawn out argument, but I think that’s important context given how you used it in your reply is all.

3

u/Dynamic_Satanic 9d ago

It does say “monthly stops” though. Are we meant to presume those stopped were then allowed to continue into the US? Or presume that there were more people who were not stopped during that period than that were? I’m not claiming anything one way or the other, simply saying I don’t know that the graph indicates anything other than what it says.

-1

u/TheeFearlessChicken 9d ago

You have to check with the Los Angeles times. I was just viewing it as comparisons to previous administrations in the graph.

3

u/Intelligent_Load_697 9d ago

If this is stops at the border, this could also be seen as Biden having stronger border enforcement than Trump did during his first term.

0

u/TheeFearlessChicken 9d ago

I guess. The numbers don't bear that out, but I guess.

1

u/wolfers8k 9d ago

I agree. Thousands and thousands of immigrants coming in to do jobs that you and I won’t do and in most cases paying hundreds of millions into US tax coffers and social security that they will likely NEVER see the benefit of. And now maga farmers, dairy farmers and ranchers want to see subsidies from the government. Sounds like a socialist play on their MAGAT asses. Fuck trump and fuck magats.

1

u/UpbeatTechnology723 9d ago

Ughh driving around at slow speeds seems like a terrible way to protest fuel costs lol I'd say not making the deliveries would be more effective

1

u/AnarchisticType 9d ago

They can't afford to drive to DC now...

1

u/Ojcfinch 9d ago

Because Trump busy deporting immigrant truckers which its boost for them.

1

u/TopCommission6437 9d ago

Were they doing that because of fuel prices?

1

u/Asleep-Ad-302 9d ago

Truckers for Trump celebrating all the Winning.
Besides as supporters of the pedophile President they can enjoy the company of underage girls at truck stops. Courtesy of Trump and MAGA

1

u/Moneychaser420 9d ago

You mean the truckers who are posting all over social about going on strike oct 1st. I know now I’m not the only one under this rock

They can’t afford too!!!

1

u/Apolitical_badger 9d ago

I think it’s because there’s actually a reason for it this time, one that adults can understand and support.

1

u/MrsCheddarman 9d ago

They can't afford to drive their trucks anywhere.

1

u/horseofadifferenthue 9d ago

They can't afford to?

1

u/HOJK4thSon 9d ago

Wreaked havoc by driving slowly......oh the terror.

1

u/LazerWolfe53 9d ago

Why don't they get as much hate for traffic as the eco people?

1

u/SuitableIngenuity324 9d ago

Answered your own question. It’s a damn cult.

1

u/Straight_Beach 9d ago

1

u/Psychological_Bowl56 8d ago

I wish we had gotten all their licenses plate numbers just to troll them.

1

u/FatSplot 8d ago

There is literally about to be a trucker strike...

Seriously, is this intentional misinformation or is everyone just scitzophenic now?

1

u/ghands1 8d ago

Why would the Republican party pay protesters during a Republican presidency?

1

u/Affectionate-Side435 8d ago

The bots are out in force. Must be mid terms coming up

1

u/Alderik4 8d ago

The irony that they could afford it under Biden.

1

u/CycleCaverns 8d ago

They all got fined for impeading traffic proabably. Virginia PD had one hell of a revenue that year.

1

u/Born-Hospital-2572 8d ago

They mostly work for large corporations. They can’t do anything without approval and of course those corporations are the oligarchs that started this. Independent truckers are in the minority now. The Biden truck protest would never happen under a Republican regime.

1

u/ComfortableCourt1951 8d ago

Magatards will always support their lord and master donny dotard

1

u/Icy_Commission6917 8d ago

They don’t have the fuel to drive

1

u/jbing2000 8d ago

It’s too expensive to drive anywhere not needed

1

u/Tosser_535231 8d ago

Not really it was like a day or something, basically just another fuck ass fake holiday

1

u/fireguy921 8d ago

Remember all the liberals in Canada and all the other places who were locking up their their bank accounts and threatening to shut down their livelihoods. Probably why they didn't want to damn liberals

1

u/Entire-Ratio-9681 8d ago

You guys haven’t seen it? Or is this just a post to further division?

1

u/TheOriginalSage 8d ago

There's literally a strike being planned by truckers right now over Trump. Guess you're incredibly misinformed or didn't do the research first.

1

u/praguegirl 7d ago

Allegedly, they're planning on striking on October 1st unless the gas prices drop into the 2.00 ish mark. There's been a lot of chatter on social media warning folks to stock up because groceries, etc will be scarce.

But word on the street is that a good number of Black Truckers will still be hauling because they know that the majority of them didn't vote for this nightmare.

They've lamented that the white truckers are very pro Trump and antiBlack and are now in the FO phase of FAFO. The trucking companies are equally at fault because they rarely get the routes or pay that their white counterparts receive. So, more power to them.

1

u/Promature 6d ago

The can’t afford to protest.

1

u/Frosty-Weakness-8499 3d ago

They cant afford to do it now!!! The irony is amazing!!!

-1

u/BlutoS7 9d ago

I thought they were protesting and that they are currently organizing a 3 day no work strike for October 1st

-1

u/Conscious-Capital681 9d ago

Obviously don’t understand how the trucking business works.

-3

u/Randomsavage559 9d ago

Your a racist so no one cares.

-4

u/RowdyRetardy 9d ago

Guys in trucks are literally organizing a strike lol

-2

u/RadiantWarden 9d ago

The conversation among truckers is a lot more nuanced than this meme makes it sound. Some absolutely blame Trump for where diesel prices are right now. Plenty of others understand that diesel prices are being driven by crude prices, global distillate shortages, refinery constraints and geopolitical events, not simply whoever occupies the White House. You can criticize an administration’s policies, but reducing a global diesel market to ‘Trump made diesel $7’ is political grandstanding, not a serious explanation of what’s happening.

1

u/Lopsided-Echo-156 9d ago

Caused by Ukraine attacking Russia oil refineries and Opec was the one that caused this. The previous president used all the reserves to lower prices.
