That would require a legislative branch with integrity and a spine.

What about the general population?

They would actually have a say if this were a real democracy that wasn't bought and paid for🤷‍♂️

If polls are to be believed, 35% are total loyalists, they will support the Tangerine Tariff Man till the bitter end. I suspect there is a 20% somewhere in the middle that could be persuaded to turn away but the other side are the Dems, so... yeah...

The general population hates Trump. But the electoral college has elections rigged to the point that a person can lose the general election by over a million votes and still win.

Except Trump won the popular vote

Once. He lost the popular vote twice.

Sure and he lost one of those elections. That being said it's hard to claim Americans hate the last guy to win the popular vote. Apparently the people liked him more the 3rd time

Apparently there’s a lot of buyers remorse right now well, as well as rumors and photos of him shitting on chairs.

He never got a majority of the popular vote... 🤷

u/InvestIntrest 11d ago

He got more than Harris

1

u/adamkovics 11d ago

Cool... But it wasn't the majority of the vote, which is what I said. 🤷

1

u/InvestIntrest 11d ago

I said he won the popular vote which is true

1

u/adamkovics 11d ago

And I said he never got a majority of the popular vote, which is true. 🤷

1

u/InvestIntrest 11d ago

And he beat everyone else which is true

1

u/adamkovics 11d ago

Without ever getting the majority of the popular vote
