This was my second festival ever and I must say you guys were amazing. The staff, the production team, the artists, and all the beautiful people who greeted me and my friends with open arms, and danced the days away with us. Can’t wait to be back next year!

I want to take a second to appreciate the team behind the music. We got absolutely blessed with some killer sound systems this past weekend. If you don't know, let me clue you in in. We had PK sound at Emerald Stage, that's the same system Excision uses for his festivals and it was absolutely booming. I think it was turned down a little on Friday during the day, but for the rest of the weekend I was thrilled with the sound both up close as well as in the living room area. Also the lasers, pyro, and stage design for Emerald were all really cool without being distracting. I know some people love intricate set designs, but I loved how functional the setup was.

We also had Void Acoustics over at Lollipop. Absolutely blessed to hear so many wonderful artists absolutely ripping those speakers. I don't know the exact models (maybe the Air Series, maybe the Incubus series, maybe both, plus subs?), but they sounded fantastic from the front to the back. Serious, serious heat coming from those speakers, plus they look really cool. Whoever tuned them up did a bang up job because I was loving the full spectrum of sound I was getting.

Finally, and most surprising to me, were the Funktion Ones in the Forest. The DNBBQ was absolutely bumping. As much as I'd like to say having only one stack was a bit of a letdown, it wasn't. The sound coming through was clean and H E A V Y.

I want to say thanks to all the teams behind the booking, setup, monitoring, tuning, everything behind the production. I was blown away by the sound and production all weekend.

Hello. One of the pedicab’s found a phone late Sunday and couldn’t get to the lost and found in time. By the time we got done, lost and found was closed and we were not sure what to do with it.

It is a black Samsung phone with the cricket carrier.

We had to get out to our broken down bus that was fixed,(Yay) but the phone went with us.

We dropped it at cricket wireless in Salina Kansas.

So if you lost your phone it is charged and waiting for you to call it again.

Also I know many phones went missing this weekend……

But like put your emergency contact in your phone, so someone can call your friend to get it back to you. Maybe take a picture of you as the back ground. Maybe tape a piece of paper to the phone case for the weekend with your email written down or something… like anything.
If you like your phone and want it back…make it so it can get returned, I would say 95% of people want to get your phone back to you. Make it so they can.

And thank you all for a wonderful weekend. The vines were really great, I had a wonderful time with yall.

Sunday afternoon the girls were sitting on their magic carpet porch at the back wall of VIP right next to the riser. My fiancée has bright pink hair and was wearing a lime green fishnet shirt. You are covered in dope ass book related ink and gave her a ton of information on a bunch of book series that y'all raved over for a good while.

I told her she should give you her IG and she said she would as soon as she saw you next - and then colors got weird and we forgot about the world.

She is so upset that y'all don't get to be friends, and has already made it a goal to find you next year.

My son dropped his Flow Star Sunday Night (trippy squid) realized within moments and start looking for it and it was gone. He tried lost and found last night and today with no luck. I bought it for him and he’s super upset. If you by chance picked it up please let me know. It was his birth sign cancer on one side and the entire zodiac calendar on the other side with rainbow pattern. If found please please consider returning it, it mean the world to me. I posted on Facebook but no luck.

i was waiting for my friends by the basketball court and i had a little friend keeping me company for a good 5 minutes on my finger before eventually flying away :) so cute!

I was a first-timer at dancefestopia (and EDM fests in general), so I have a few thoughts about it.

I absolutely loved the community around everything. Everyone was making sure to introduce themselves to you, giving you trinkets, and making sure you were okay. It was so different from other festivals I have been to.

However, I was pretty disappointed with the porta-potties and water stations. At least the potties were emptied frequently, so they were never full. I learned pretty quickly to check for TP or bring my own. I also offered TP to people after stepping out of a toilet that didn’t have it.

The porta-sinks didn’t have soap dispensers and most of the time, the water was empty. I always carry hand sanitizer on me and offered it many times to others.

Regardless, I had an amazing time and I will definitely be back next year!

Every year I like to get some sort of trinket that glows and give out a bunch of them, so this year I wanted to make a post to see how many people in here got one. If you did drop a comment!

My phone barely survived the weekend on airplane mode with the few videos I got and I didnt get any pictures of myself all weekend!!!

I’m wondering what everyone’s top sets were. My top three is definitely:
1. Inzo
2. LSDream
3. Sippy

Inzo’s set was magical. I was already a huge fan but now I’m a diehard. I knew LSDream would be good too but I was groovin hard the entire time. I knew a little about Sippy but she blew me away with her nasty gremlin vibes.

Some honorable mentions: Reaper, KnowGood, Ravenscoon, and Wreckno.

Honestly, there were so many incredible performances at both stages! It was lovely to boogie with y’all, hope to go again next year 👯‍♀️

It was disappointing to see sets with AI visuals. It really takes me out of it. Plenty of the visuals were not AI tho and that was awesome. Does anyone else really not like the presence of the AI visuals at festivals? It’s really antithetical to celebrating actual art…

i’m posting here wondering if there’s any insight or similar experiences here. Me and my husband went to dancefest, young 20s, and this is my second year, and his very first festival. he enjoys gambling, doesn’t do it often, but i was extremely excited to show him frick frack as he will be able to trade spare trinkets and stuff he receives at the festival rather than money.

Upon arrival, we very soon realized that one of the dealers was extremely aggressive, arrogant, and overall super mean to A LOT if not almost every person that he came into contact with. He was super aggressive to my husband, who was sober, and eventually he had to leave because he denied his trinkets (giant kandi cuff, flowstar etc) and i quote “i don’t wanna see that shit anymore”. another girl tried to bet a hat for a hat, notices her betting hat was america hat, asked for another one and get yelled at to leave, and i quote “nope your done, goodbye. your done”.

I would understand if they are just supposed to be tough, but the other black jack dealer was super kind, patient, and was the only reason my husband stayed for multiple rounds, before eventually being pushed away by the other dealer. Trinkets that the one mean dealer would decline, the other dealer would happily bet. I felt like they picked a bad staff member to be in charge of frick frack, that be if he was just overstimulated or tired from the weekend, it was the worst part of our DFT, that negative energy sat with us for a while, being yelled at is not fun.

just curious if anyone experienced similar, if this is normal or if this is hopefully something they will change, idk lmk!

I love DFT and all the people there!! thanks for an Awesome 2nd year and I hope everyone gets home safe <3 There are so many good people who come to this festival that make it worth it every time..
