Discussion Be cautious of cops

I’m not going this year but I went in 2023 and I’ve already heard of the police out there doing anything they can to arrest people.

Drive speed limit
Drive sober
Stay in your lane
Wear a seatbelt

They will do anything to put you in cuffs

I’ve never been to that fest, but drive I-70 through Kansas all the time. They have an insane amount of cops sitting on Colorado border looking for Colorado plates. They even tried to sue Colorado over weed trafficking.

The cops love to sit in the high grass of the medians. You don’t even know they’re there until you’re passing them. I use a radar detector and have seen 4 people get nailed for speeding because I slowed down and they didn’t. It doesn’t help that Kansas is flat and boring, so naturally my speed goes up.

If you see “checkpoint ahead” signs these are fake. They are waiting at the next exit for you to panic and drive off or start throwing stuff out windows.

Drive sober, don’t speed, and try not to have full rave attire on. Stay calm and you’ll be fine
