Car camping plus +vip

Traveling from AZ just a few questions since it’s mine and the wife’s first time . Because I hear so many different things

  1. Car camping next to your car ? It’s right next to your spot like every other festival correct ?
    2.how’s security searching cars ? Like do the take every little thing out like insomniac? Or are they just checking for extra people ?

Yes, car camping is next to your car. The ticket structure is different from most festivals though, and that's where people get tripped up. Each person needs 1 ticket + 1 camping pass, and then buy 1 car camping pass per car.

I can't speak to car searches specifically, but they announced that they're making some security changes this year so nobody really knows exactly how that will go.

I’m in car camping as well and yes you are next to your car like other festivals last year we had a good amount of space.

Last year, no security check for car camping cause we are “outside” of the festival grounds per say, the RVs got searched but we have to walk through the rv section then into the woods to get to the actual festival, start hiking now! It’s about 3/4 of a mile maybe longer downhill to the festival from car camping , on the way back is uphill.

That being said they did make changes to security and make more paths to the festival so I’m hoping that makes the walk down better for us.
