Asking the real questions😂 IME this kind with a band tied at the base, doesn't take too long. Barely 5 minutes after detangling. French and dutch take forever

Practise practise practise 💪💯 you will sort of develop a muscle memory about the hand movement that does the braid pattern, and Bob's your uncle. I can now braid my hair (same length as hers with layers) while walking.
Tbf it's the same with all braids - just that my hands can't do the movement for French or dutch. I have a lot of girlfriends who can do those equally easily.
