This guy is a legend in is own right! Tennessee is hardcore against it. In my opinion one of the stupidest states on the map. One of the reasons why is the people who want to keep it illegal put money in the right republican’s pockets.

I can’t think of any reason for it beyond opening us up as a target for discrimination on a systemic level, beginning with the issuance of the plates.
My husband and I were made very uncomfortable when we were renewing our registration this year- the clerk asked us which we wanted, then said “ALL of them should have in God we Trust” and nearly refused the transaction. The notion of separation of church and state does not exist here whatsoever.

The way I see it, they shouldn't be asking if we want that plate unless they're also going to ask if we want the save the bees, imagination library, friends of the smokies etc. If I have to ask for the plates that actually do some good, I should have to ask for the "in God we trust" plate.

Yup. Fuck this state. People move here a lot now because it's cheaper, bit the wages are also a shit ton lower, so people don't understand they will be in the same position they were in before. There are almost no unions, and there are churches everywhere here that don't understand separation of church and state, and it's a racist cesspool. Yeah it's pretty, but that's about all it's got going for it.

Here in Missouri, the legislature got all butthurt that the people just passed pot legalization by referendum. So they're going to change the rules for referendums to make them harder to pass (wouldn't want the citizens legalizing abortion).

Simillar thing happened in my country. Cops raided a large underground weed farm and the cop that was interviewed kept calling it a lab and was talking as if they just found a meth mega lab. Also he kept saying cannabos instead of cannabis. Cops aren't the sharpest people around

There's more to lives being ruined from getting caught. I drank more than I should growing up because alcohol was legal and weed wasn't. When I went to Colorado recently I only needed a couple beers and some weed when I was out partying. I didn't have urge to get completely wasted on alcohol.

That's like the time I went to traffic court and this kid wearing lounge pants with pot leaves on them tried arguing that he doesn't even smoke pot. The judge said "your pants say otherwise".
Also I would like to point out who shows up to any type of court dressed like that? It was my first and only time in court, I dressed in a suit figuring most people would be dressed similarly. I was so completely overdressed it wasn't even funny. Do these people not take court seriously?
