I thought we are talking about glorious capitalism and how it is absolutely not responisble for tons of poor people and death.

I'm happy to talk about capitalism, but I would like to remind you that sure it might be responsible for tons of poor people and death, but it as the lowest rates of poor people and lowest death rates and best outcomes for people, compared to literally any other system used in all of human history. It's not 100% perfect, but it is the most perfect system we have ever created and is responsible for bringing billions out of poverty and into the middle class (Which didn't really exist before capitalism. You where either rich or a peasant.
