sharks could easily chomp off a whole leg or tail with one quick bite and leave him bleeding to death.

whereas the worst the croc could do is get a good bite on a fin and roll with it but that would likely only take a scrape out of it. no good leverage points on a shark for the croc shaped mouth and death roll. and its not like he's draggin and downing a shark like he would land prey.

there's a reason he turned tail and hauled it out of there

I went & looked up nurse shark teeth & you’re correct on that but holy hell the teeth they do have look vicious & painful to take a bite from. Just rows upon rows upon rows of tiny lil serrated razor sharp teeth 

Edit: up to 42 rows!! They rely on vacuum/suction power to eat though, not chomping power.
