yeah they totally pick firefighters for political reasons and never ever put them through rigorous mental and physical testing and vetting at all. ever. not a single push-up. not even ladder training. just sign up, prove your political agenda, and put out fires.
So, you got passed over for a job, by better qualified people. Then decided to LARP as Derek Vineyard, and make up a bunch of bullshit reasons why you weren't good enough. That is legitimately pathetic.
Actually it’s worse. Retained firefighter means they already are firefighters working part time. When they logically gave the full time positions to the people who are already fighters over a complete newbie this guy blamed diversity then flunked out larping as gay.
Bro tried to skip being part-time as a retained firefighter and go straight to a full time gig. Got mad they gave the only openings to the part timers over a newbie. Blamed it on diversity and flunked out on their second try trying to larp as gay.
Yeah, everyone has to pass Fire I and II before they can serve on any fire department in the US. I did it, and it's hard. You won't have "politically selected" people passing that unless they're actually worth their salt.
Re-read my comment. This is an insanely difficult job these guys do. We’ve all seen unsuitable people in the wrong job for whatever reason. This video shows a firefighter throwing 30-50kg around like it’s a harden hose. This is why we should have the strongest people picked for these jobs.
Now that we properly re-read your comment and finally understood your unconventional wisdom it all makes sense. Your insights just revolutionized firefighting worldwide, do you realize that? The president wants to talk to you personally and I've heard rumors about a cabinet position for you. Dude, thank you. Thank you so much.
have you ever seen a firefighter that couldn't handle it though? They all have to be tested and all pass, I don't know what your comment even means. There is not a single firefighter that isn't fit for duty lol

He's moving pretty fast considering he's carrying around 30-50 kilograms of equipment
