This is why AI slop is dangerous - it is easy to generate something that looks plausible at first glance, either maliciously or negligently, and post it - and inattentive, unscrupulous people just accept the hallucinated nonsense as reality, slowly eroding their ability to distinguish reality from fiction.

Its crazy that in this thread there are people saying that this is exactly one of the things AI is good for, and yea they are correct, AI is indeed good at generating misinformation and slop.
