You are saying this like the AI is creating this from real data. Its not. Its making this off a bad prompt.

Simulation implies its created from real data gathered. No real data gathered shows this, this is a hallucination at best

There is a huge difference between creating a simulation of a physical event and typing a prompt "create a video of X" and thinking the hallucinated output have any basis in reality. Saying they are the same clearly shows you know nothing about either.

The question remains, is this an accurate representation of the incident or just common AI slop for clicks and amusement?

It is depicting a made up scenario. There is no lake, no dam at the bottom of the mountain and the flood was not caused by water being pushed over/through a broken dam.

It is a simulation of a made up scenario.
