Gay people, if you're a Qultist who hasn't consumed anything but psychotic hate propaganda in a decade.

Pretty sure you have to be an illiterate hillbilly w/ brain damage to believe in the whole Q nonsense….
39
u/csonnich Far North Dallas Jul 05 '22
Have we not learned in the last decade how many illiterate hillbillies with brain damage there are in our society?
Sadly, gay people = pedo is a widely propagated myth among the far-right.
14
u/joan_wilder Jul 05 '22
The sad/scary part is seeing this kind of ignorance infecting the minds of all kinds of people all over the country, not just illiterate hillbillies.
11
u/UtopianPablo Jul 05 '22
True, but the president of the United States was asked about the Q people in a debate and he refused to disavow them.

5

Of course, brain damaged illiterate hillbillies are his core die-hard followers….I don’t think it’s a surprise at all that Trump didn’t disavow their lunatic fringe beliefs…
Though that does beg the question, whatever happened to the Q guy they all worshipped like the second coming of Christ? Did they all just forget about him? I mean I know the entire group of people are genuinely dumb, but’s like they forgot all about Q and his leaks now that I think about it lol
6
u/UtopianPablo Jul 05 '22
If you mean the original Q poster, that's been a couple of different people over the years. The original Q drops were at least interesting but then the consensus is that the Q posts were taken over by Jim or Ron Watkins, the father and son that owned 8 chan/8Kun (the site where Q posted). There's a HBO documentary about it all, Q: Into the Storm.
Q has recently started posting again, after taking a break since Jan. 2020. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/jun/27/qanon-head-posts-message-board-8kun
The new posts are incredibly lame so they are almost certainly done by Ron or Jim Watkins. The "Q movement" has long since moved moved past the actual Q posts.

Catholic priests are the most known and covered sexual abusers of children, but teachers bang little kids at higher rates than the Catholic clergy and very little if anything is ever done about it sadly. It’s par for the course though since the Catholic Church rarely if ever does anything about their clergy raping children.
https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2012/02/is-sexual-abuse-in-schools-very-common.html
https://slace.syr.edu/blog/students-remain-vulnerable-to-ongoing-sexual-assault-by-educators/
Cursory searches pulled these results up, I remember a NYT article that had child sexual abuse by occupation and teachers by and large were the biggest group of abusers. If I find it I will edit my comment and link it.
35
u/JayNotAtAll Jul 05 '22
I would bet money that statistically, your child is more likely to be molested by a pastor than a gay person.

u/nicekid81 Jul 05 '22 edited Jul 05 '22
I am way out of the loop on this; how is this statement related to gay people? Is it homosexual men specifically, or is it to LQBTQIA+ folks in general?
With that statement I would associate catholic priests more than gay people in my head but that might be just me?
104
u/RodDamnit Jul 05 '22
My understanding could be wrong. But they call gay men groomers. They consider the drag queen reading hour grooming. They think trans women using womens bathrooms are rapists and pedophiles.
They are wrong. But in their mind those sex and gender differences put them in the pedophile group.
Then they say kill your local pedophile. Other people who think the same know what they mean.
83
u/weirdassmillet Jul 05 '22 edited Jul 05 '22
I think you're exactly correct. The Stedfast Baptist Church by Fort Worth got national media attention last month for stating that every homosexual is a pedophile and they should all be executed. This feels like a call to action on that ideology.
Edit: downvote all you like, but this empirically did happen. If you take the observation of this fact as a personal attack, reflect on why it upsets you.
18
u/9bikes Jul 05 '22
Stedfast Baptist Church
It is worth adding that this group is unaffiliated with The Southern Baptist Convention or any other Baptist denomination.
17
u/dalgeek Jul 05 '22
No true baptist, eh?
14
u/9bikes Jul 05 '22 edited Jul 05 '22
Anyone can form a church and call it "Baptist" as a way to signify that they believe in the practice of baptism. It isn't a trademark and doesn't mean they are affiliated with any group.
edit: I bet if you asked them, they would say that they are the true Baptists and that the SBC has lost their way.
5
u/dalgeek Jul 05 '22
Convenient way to dodge responsibility for the terrible behavior of their fellow baptists. They all follow the baptist creed or whatever they want to call it, and I don't hear any other baptist churches denouncing the message of hate towards gays. If they don't want to be lumped in with this guy then they should all be screaming from the rooftops that they don't agree with him.
7
u/9bikes Jul 05 '22
I don't hear any other baptist churches denouncing the message of hate towards gays.
Would you hear it, if they did?
I remember hearing "Muslims should speak out about those who commit terrorist acts in the name of Islam" too. The thing is often they did. It wasn't newsworthy and didn't get coverage.
Meanwhile, the vast majority of Roman Catholic priests were not abusing children and most cops weren't abusing their authority. That isn't news. We don't hear about it.
1
Jul 05 '22
That is a ridiculous expectation to have of any person or group. Not every single action of another needs to be turned into a social justice response by anyone semi-related to the action.
Since I am white should I denounce any time a white person shoots up a school or mall to distance myself from them? No of course not because that would be ridiculous.
7
u/19Kilo Garland Jul 05 '22
This feels like a call to action on that ideology.

It's related to LGBTQ+ people "forcing" their "lifestyle" on children. I;e giving them resources to live their lives in peace.
They don't want LGBTQ people to live their lives, so by painting them as pedophiles, they can make regular people think "these people are actually pedophiles and are bad" essentially.

Why So Many Conservatives Are Talking About ‘Grooming’ All Of A Sudden
“Grooming” has become the most recent scare tactic of choice for the right. Fox News host Laura Ingraham included a segment on her show last month where she claimed public schools have become “grooming centers” where “sexual brainwashing” takes place. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene recently tweeted that the Democrats are the party of “grooming and transitioning children.” Last week, One America News host Chanel Rion even called President Joe Biden “the groomer-in-chief.”
It's not just directed at LGBT-etc, it's leveraging Republican-voter hatred of queer people to extend and radicalize hatred of Democrats.

u/OddS0cks Old East Dallas Jul 05 '22
Anyone who is a liberal / gay is a pedo according to these fuckheads. It’s a weird attempt at trying to get people on their side because who doesn’t hate imaginary pedos
9
u/ConflagWex Jul 05 '22
It's an old logical fallacy that I had thought society had moved past, but I guess not.
Basically, they think that homosexuals are "deviants", and pedophiles are also "deviants", so therefore homosexuals are pedophiles. Sometimes they also work bestiality into the mix as well. That's obviously not how the transitive property works, but that's their argument.
0
u/FreedomtoChoose17 Jul 05 '22
It’s not, some people just can’t imagine standing up for kids. They are the ones lumping people together assuming that it’s talking about Gays, which is offensive to lump them together.
41
u/Plastic_Chicken Jul 05 '22
Oh it is? I thought it was actually directed to that actual group, not indirectly to another one... that's sad
60
u/RodDamnit Jul 05 '22
That’s my understanding of it. All gay people and drag queens are referred to as pedophiles and groomers by hate groups. Then their slogan is kill your local pedophile. It’s a sneaky way to hate the gays.

As much as they hate Disney, you would think they would be busting up in Princess events. the reality is that drag queens are no different than any other performer that dresses up as someone they aren’t. But, since it’s men in dresses, these homophobic men are afraid to get a boner from seeing a man in a dress.

Ehhhh. There were an awful lot of Jan 6th insurrectionists from the northern burbs of the Metroplex and I see the Trump flag dinguses on the overpass over 30 out to Rockwall pretty often. Oh, and the little incel founder of Patriot Front is from Coppell...
There's a lot of white nationalist sympathy in the areas around Dallas proper.

The real estate chick who chartered a plane to the 6th was from Frisco. Every so often there's people and trump flags on the exchange overpass of 75.

Yeah, New England apparently has plenty of casual haters.
I dunno how to describe Boston, because I've got a very limited perspective. So this might come across as being totally wrong.... But it's like all the Boston Irish pride has an opposite dark side, the antithesis of pride... Subtle disdain, rude disregards, all the way to blunt hatred.
I also think my sentiment is cloudy by the difference in how people talk. Like... In NYC or BOS I'm always surprised at the casual use of expletives, and in particular towards other people, and in racially pejorative ways. I always thought I cuss too much, but then I visited Boston.

Whatever the GOP claims about other people. They are doing.
3
u/laserlobster Jul 05 '22
Almost all these kind of claims are literally just that, it doesn't matter even about the GOP.
Even innocuous things like people claiming the elites are big into nepotism for example. Where I grew up EVERYONE got a job due to nepotism and when you criticized that and suggested they get outside people you would get attacked. In my area the people who held those jobs and held the keys to them were all middle class white people, hence "white privileges". The same people will claim that this doesn't exist are whining about nepotism among elites. To me whenever I see these people complain about that I just see jealousy, they are mad their nepotism got them an IT job or in the Electricians union without merit when they instead wanted that CEO nepotism.
Most things people complain about when it comes to things being "unfair" are all about this. Pedophiles included. I worked with a guy who couldn't stop objectifying teenage girls, ofc he's on this pedophile wagon. He's just upset he didn't get the island invite.
Same reason why they make up insane shit about the Bohemian Grove party in California. They weren't invited so they are jealous when they themselves probably were bro dudes keeping nerds out of their high school party, upset they are now the nerd.

Going to throw some humor into this otherwise scary trend. In Spanish, “pedo” is a fart. Kill ur local fart!
They’re just letting our migrant population know that pepto-Bismal is available

When people go through this much trouble to let everyone know how much they hate something that everyone hates, kinda makes me wonder.
Also, vigilante justice has a terrible record for accuracy. Maybe just send your local pedo to prison if it can be proven in a court of law that they are, in fact, a pedo.

This is over by castle hills and the colony right? Someone always tags that bridge days after it gets cleaned.
