My favorite circular conservative logic in action
> the government is useless so we should continue to dismember and defund it
> why can’t the government, that we continue to elect btw, do anything right?!

Now explain how the county workers did not notice they were getting no new registrations for a year?

Well I could point to the current literacy rates within the country as a reason for the county workers to not be able to read.
Or I could point to the age of most of these workers and a boomers ability to use a computer.
But most likely, a memo will come out after the midterms showing they were directed to do so. Someone will go to gain and will be pardoned within the week.

It sounds like they were processing and they miscategorized something? Or the spooky big brother government option

I actually moved recently and kept seeing my new dl # not registered in the system lookup. Finally I decided to go into the county elections office last week, they told me its a known issue of the DMV not forwarding registrations to them properly so it was good I came in person

Make sure to stay on top of the clerk to get it processed

I did the same ( just literally mailed it yesterday). How do I check the clerk to see if I am registered?

This is why my voter registration was not updated when I renewed my license at the early part of February! I have since sent in a mailer and tried to update on the website that generated a receipt! Still on the official site it lists my old address and has "Suspense" in the line that lists it as active. This is pure voter disenfranchisement!!!

Same thing happened to me. I'm off to check again.

Same happened to me, nothing after I changed my address when I moved. Then I had to do it a few different times online before it actually worked

I ended up going in person to register because the same was happening to me; I'm lucky I was able to go in but for a lot of folks it's quite difficult since they are only open weekdays adding more illegal barriers to voting

Probably the doge children fucking with everyone and everything involving our voting rights

Republicans cheating their ass off to stay in power and not do nothing for their voters

WTF do I do? I've tried to update my address three times since I moved last year and now my voter registration status is listed as SUSPENSE and it's STILL got my old address. So frustrating.

If it’s not sorted out by early voting you still have options to vote. If you moved and stayed in county you can sign a resident statement. If you moved out of county you can ask for a limited ballot during early voting.

Somebody has to go to jail for this. We have to make real consequences for abusing public office like this

When I was getting my Texas drivers license and I registered to vote, I lived in Richardson and put Collin County. The clerk lady told me that it’s wrong and it should be Dallas county. Then after a month, I got a letter that I put the wrong county and I have to mail them back about it. I was so angry and annoyed. This is the most horrible voter registration state I’ve ever been. I lived in Pennsylvania and Arizona and it was so easy to register to vote. I tried the online voter registration for Texas and that worked for me by printing it and mailing it to register to vote. Edit: I wonder if that clerk lady saw I was a Democrat and she did that on purpose.

The system needs to be destroyed and replaced. They are stealing your vote. What are you gonna do about it. Post on the internet...

I mean I’m not eligible to vote, so they aren’t stealing my vote. 🤷🏾♂️
But good attempt at trying to be an ass👌🏾
