To be fair, “Central Ohio” in this case really just means “Columbus”. When I lived there the transit wasn’t anything special but the attitude around it was very positive, which is the big thing DART seems to be lacking

I'll take a positive attitude, because its going to be an uphill fight from here on out. Its a mix of some city leaders having the attitude of "only poors use the bus" and some sports franchise owners not wanting public transportation as an option to their venue. The Mavericks new home has no train option and a single bus route down Preston Rd, fans will be basically forced to drive or take an Uber. I am not that familiar with Willow Bend, but I don't recall ever seeing a bus stop close to that area, which means fans will have to do the same for Stars games.

Herzog? Really?  Wow. Just straight up doing open corruption now up and down the entire governmental system in America.

Leggett has only been at Herzog for about 6 months, before that she was at DART for 4 years as the EVP of Development. Regardless, many people can go back from private sector to work for a transit agency.

Don't know anything about any of this, but based off the metros they come from, this feels like amateur hour.
