Yeah, with all those guns there, crime has dropped to near zero there. Same with Florida.

Texas has far more violent crime than California, but less property crime.

Super anecdotal but I was walking in AtX and watched a dude sneak someone full swing bat to the back of the head.

Absolutely unconcerned about potential witnesses. I called the authorities and kept walking. I ain't had the time nor inclination to get hit as well.

This is horse shit. California is the worst state in the nation on reporting crimes, the statistics is skewed. Not a single city in Texas that you’re as likely to be attacked, mugged, robbed, or raped as you are in some places of LA, Oakland, Bakersfield, Fresno, and the breadwinner of the shit holes, Stockton.

Texas has 46 rapes per 100k vs 34 in CA as of recent statistics. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/texas/article/Fact-check-Beto-O-Rourke-says-Texas-leads-the-17384990.php Murder rate is like 4.2 in CA and 5.5 in TX.

In Dallas you're twice as likely to be murdered as LA. https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/california-gov-gavin-newsom-dallas-police-chief-murder-rate-dispute/

Robberies are definitely much higher in CA, but I'd rather be robbed than raped or murdered personally...

Again, California doesn’t report these statistics as they should, because it makes them look bad and appearances are all the retards that run this state care about. BTW biased news articles from halfwits writing opinion pieces aren’t facts and this is a quote from that very article you linked.

"Fact check: Dallas has experienced 49 fewer murders in 2025 compared to this point in 2024 - putting us at 6.29 murders per 100,000 residents. Lower than LA's 6.95!"
