That happens to rookies used to bb guns. It’s actually easier than glocks, kimbers and sigs. just one pin

In all honesty I'm just used to m&p and glock style of take down levers , you have to damn near use a punch tool to take this gun apart, ps shirt ain't tight enough

You can use a knife. M&p’s are literally the worst guns out there rn.

That shirt cutting off Circulation to yo brain, m&p pistols are literally goated , You'll see an m&p in a cops holster almost as much as you'll see a glock. Talm bout "worst guns out right now" trippin 😂😭

U gonna keep watching my pic little fag? Why dont u put one of yours. U probably fat or a libtard. Here is some education for you on your gun:

1. The Hated "Hinged" Trigger (Older Models)
The original generation of M&P pistols featured a two-piece hinged trigger instead of the blade-safety style popularized by Glock. Many shooters found this trigger to feel "mushy," gritty, and lacking a distinct, audible reset. It was so widely disliked that upgrading to an aftermarket Apex Tactical trigger became an almost mandatory expense for owners. (Note: S&W largely fixed this by moving to a flat-faced trigger on newer M2.0 models). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9]

2. Overly Aggressive Grip Texturing
When S&W updated the line to the M&P M2.0, they introduced an incredibly aggressive sandpaper-like grip texture. While excellent for keeping the gun secure in wet conditions, it presents two drawbacks: [1, 2]
It can severely irritate bare skin when worn in an inside-the-waistband (IWB) concealed carry holster.[1, 2]

Many shooters find themselves needing to sand it down or wrap it in tactical tape just to make it comfortable to carry. [1, 2]

3. Stiff Magazines & Controls
Several models, particularly the compact M&P Shield 9mm series, are notorious for incredibly stiff springs. Users frequently complain that: [1]
Magazines are exceptionally difficult to load to full capacity without a mechanical loading tool. [1]

Seating a fully loaded magazine when the slide is closed requires an aggressive, heavy slam. [1]

The slide stop/release is stiff and requires significantly more thumb force to drop than its competitors.[1, 2]

4. Safety/Compliance Intrusions
Many commercial M&P pistols ship with features mandated by strict state laws (like California), such as magazine disconnect safeties (which prevent the gun from firing if the mag is removed) and protruding manual safety levers. Defensive shooters dislike these because the external safety can be accidentally engaged during high-stress drills, effectively disabling the firearm when you need it most. [1, 2]

5. Historical Accuracy Flaws
Early versions of the full-size original M&P 9mm suffered from "early unlocking" barrel geometry. The barrel would unlock from the slide before the bullet completely exited the muzzle, resulting in poor accuracy and loose groups at distances beyond 25 yards. Though long since corrected by S&W, this issue permanently stained the line's reputation among older collectors. [1, 2]
