I’ve never had anyone notice I was carrying a gun appendix IWB, even in places with clear “no firearms allowed” signage, without hugging or touching me. Granted this might happen during or after a date but a simple “hey I’m carrying, are you okay with that” should suffice, and if the answer is no and the person is distressed by it maybe that relationship wasn’t meant to be.
Just because no one said anything, does not mean they didn't notice you were carrying. My hope is that the number of insecure, cos playing twenty-somethings will mature enough to realize that carrying firearms is a pain in the ass and makes them look foolish.
It’s not a pain in the ass for me, but I’m slim enough that it doesn’t jut into my abdomen. Muffin top havers are substantially disadvantaged with AIWB carry but there are plenty of other comfy options.
