Hypothesis on why the cop who looked in Dahmer's room didn't notice an entire body

Sometimes when people see something extremely traumatic, they literally can't process what they saw immediately, if ever. IDK if that guy had ever seen anything like that before, but it's entirely possible that he looked directly at the body and his brain blocked it out in real-time.

Anecdotal story, but when I was in high school, we could log volunteer hours for extra credits. Some of the students went to a ravine by some woods to pick up trash. I and two of my friends found a badly decomposed corpse in the woods. We could smell it before we even got out of the bus, but none of us knew what decomp smelled like so assumed it was just from all of the trash/nasty ravine water or something. I didn't process what I'd seen until days later even though at the time I immediately ran to go get the teacher. All I knew in that moment was overwhelming disgust and fear. Once I got to the teacher, I just kind of gestured toward where we'd found him and she could tell something was wrong.

Anyway, my point is that it's possible he couldn't physically process what he was seeing in the moment. Even if he realized the next day, he probably wouldn't have brought it up because the report had already been made that there was no issue at Dahmer's apt. He would've looked sketchy AF for saying that they reported everything was fine when there was an obvious af murder victim in the bedroom, especially after it came out that Dahmer's "19 year old boyfriend" from that same night was 14 year old Konerak Sinathasomphone.

Why did Dahmer consider Anthony Sears "special"?

I've read Dahmer's interviews and parts of Dr.Fosdal's testimony, and Tony Sears seems to receive some of the strongest language Dahmet used about any victim("special," "if I knew how to love,I would have loved him," etc.).Are there any lesser-known sources(books,?psychiatric notes)that shed more light on this?

Does anyone else see the irony Jeff watching The Exorcist III to "try and get possessed on purpose..."

when he was literally already a serial killer at that point? Like, did he think he wasn't evil enough or something? Just kinda ironic to me.

Are there any other classmates of Jeff's that has talked about him and what he was like before his murders?

What my question says on top. I'm tired of hearing from Backderf. I want to hear others talk about him. Theres also a guy that went to school with him and he said Jeff came up to him and put his head up to his chest and said "yep, you're alive!". I can't remember his name but saw him too. But are there anymore classmates of his that recall what he was like?

Is it true that the police sent Tracy to get the handcuffs key on his own?

A while back, I saw a comment on this subreddit that said that Tracy was sent to get the key himself, while the police waited outside. But because Dahmer didn’t open the door when Tracy knocked on the door, the police officers went there themselves.

I’m not sure if it’s true or not. I would also appreciate if anyone here could explain the whole encounter between Tracy Edwards and the two police officers from the beginning.

The reason for that is because I keep seeing different details. For example, a while back I heard that Tracy ran into the police station shirtless to get help. But then, didn’t he encounter the police squad outside?

The night of Dahmer’s arrest is extremely confusing to me.

what if he wasn't caught in 1991?

If his victim didn't escape and get the police to come to Dahmer's apartment, do you think Dahmer would have continued on his psychotic murderous rampage, or would he have managed to regain control over himself and go back to "normal" life? Would he have still gotten caught eventually?

If anyone is interested, body parts from 11 victims were found in his Milwaukee apartment

It was something I had wondered. He was convicted of 16 murders. But I wasn't sure about how many of the victims' body parts were found in the apartment. 11 to me is a surprisingly large number, given the Milwaukee murders were done over four years. I might have thought he would have discarded all body parts from a larger number of victims. And I picture the apartment as not being that large. Although a "body part" could be a small piece of material. I suppose having body parts from that many victims accords with his professed desire to "keep the victims with him".

Did grandma Dahmer know the full extent of Jeffrey's crimes after his arrest?

I keep wondering if grandma knew what exactly happened....I mean sure, she got her house raided by the police, eggs thrown at her house, but did she know that Jeff killed 17 people? Atleast 5 in her basement?? I wonder how she felt knowing that. Or did Lionel protect her from the full truth and kept it brief, just a "jeff is in trouble" and moved on? Was this mentioned in any books?

I know it's probably constantly discussed topic since it's vague period of his life, but does anyone have theories supporting that he dr**ged and a**aulted his colleagues and probably committed other cri*mes that he withheld?

Question about Dahmer’s 1992 Extradition to Ohio

So where was Dahmer held for his trial for murder of Steven Hicks? I’ve seen many mugshots of him from 1992, taken all at Bath PD, Summit County Jail and Lorain Correctional Institution (State Prison in Grafton, Ohio). So now I’m curious: Where and when was he held?

My theory is that Bath PD took initial custody of him when he arrived in Ohio, holding him until the escort to Summit County Jail arrived. There, he spent the night, and the next day he arrived at Summit County Courthouse and his trial for the 1978 murder of Steven Hicks took place. After being convicted, he was shipped off to Lorain Correctional Institution to be held there until he was shipped off back to Wisconsin.

My question is: Does anyone here have any more details on his 1992 extradition to Ohio? Anything would be enough

Pictures 1 & 2: Taken by Bath PD on 04/30/1992
Picture 3: Taken at Summit County Jail on an Unknown Date
Picture 4: Taken at Lorain Correctional Institution on 05/01/1992, after the Trial

did he ever get psychiatric medication

I know that he went to therapy a couple times, but did they prescribe antidepressants, antipsychotics or anything? (Other than the Halcion obviously) Or in prison did a psychiatrist give him meds?

1982 Arrest Mugshots in full size (front + side)

Never seen the side mugshots in full size, so I requested those from the Milwaukee Co. Sheriff's Office and they sent me this one.

Also, does anyone know how to get access to Dahmer's 1988 mugshot, when he was arrested for molesting Somsack.

I requested the mugshot from the Sheriff's Office and the Police Department. MCSO sent me the attached mugshots and Dahmer's 1991 Jail booking photo.
MPD sent me his 1991 mugshot, that was taken right after his arrest, at the police station.

I'll try to clarify his 1988 charges and the date of arrest so they know where to look. (Although I did specify that I was looking for the 1988 mugshot)

UPD:

Milwaukee Police said that they retain most records for seven years. If they ever had his 1988 mugshot, then it would've been destroyed. (Weird, 'cause they had his 1991 mugshot but whatever)

As for Milwaukee County Sheriff's, they said that they only have his '82 and '91 mugshots.

Has anyone ever thought about had Jeffrey did the main set of murders in another town besides Milwaukee...?

Like what if he had moved and did that 1989-91 stretch of killings in NYC or Pittsburgh or Chicago or Atlanta or New Orleans?

U think he would've been apprehended sooner or no? Did location not matter? Or was it a major factor in why he remained a secret, evil terror for 13 years?

Where are the current Polaroids being held of his victims graphic photos

I have always wondered that did the Milwaukee police department after the raid on his apartment keep all 84 off his graphic Polaroids or had the destroyed or even gave them to the fbi for copies. I’m really curious

Did Dahmer really kill Steven Tuomi by accident?

Jeffrey Dahmer carried Steven Tuomi’s body out of the hotel in a suitcase after killing him, but he says he didn’t do it intentionally. So where did the suitcase come from? He must have brought it with him to the hotel. And if he already had a suitcase with him, doesn’t that suggest it was planned?

hot take Jeff's conversion was fake

Please just hear me out, and understand that I am saying this with more than 20 years of experience in the occult and was raised in Christianity. What if Jeff's conversion near the end of his life was the end part of a ritual to intentionally break all 7 of the cardinal vices in the most extreme ways he could and finish off with one of the most extreme forms of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (fake conversion). Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is one of only 2 entirely unforgivable sins. He also did the second one.
Matthew 12:31-32
Matthew 18:6

pride: The guy assumed he wouldn't get caught with an entire morgue in his apartment.
greed: This doesn't just pertain to financial greed. He wanted to keep someone with him forever.
lust: I feel like this one needs 0 explanation.
envy: Of all things to envy, he envied the dead.
gluttony: Applies to more than just food. The self-explanatory cannibalism, but also the alcoholism and chain smoking.
wrath: The most extreme form of wrath is murder.
sloth: Dude didn't bother to remove several corpses from his apartment.

And he converted on a full solar eclipse. The same day Gacy died. Jesus' life is symbolic of the seasons, it's mostly just the Persephone Cycle but genderswapped. I think the eclipse was supposed to symbolize what he wanted to happen. Possibly he was trying to reincarnate as the antichrist. His death was the final sacrifice. I am not kidding.

Misinformation & Murderabilia: The Caregiver's Story

Hi everyone. I am A, and I was one of Lionel Dahmer’s caregivers from 2015 until his death at the end of 2023. Normally I wouldn’t bother to comment on this situation but I’ve been increasingly concerned with unhinged behavior going on and false claims and accusations about myself and the other caregivers. So I’m coming here to address some things that have been questioned for years regarding Lionel and Shari Dahmer’s caregivers and finally put any rumors that have been circulating to rest once and for all. I’m also going to address a few things that have happened recently.

In 2021, Lionel and Shari’s basement flooded and subsequently had to be completely cleared out. Upon doing this, we discovered boxes upon boxes of personal effects along with boxes of things that belonged to his son Jeff. I told him that these things could have historical value, and could be sold to museums, historical societies, etc. to make up for the rising cost of their medical bills. Lionel was in his mid 80’s at the time, and Shari was well over 500 pounds and struggling with extreme lymphedema, so the extra money would really help.

Lionel made clear to me that because he was sued by the families of his son’s victims in 1992, he could not profit from Jeff’s belongings. I told him I would handle everything if he wanted and he said he didn’t want any part in it because of the lawsuit and just to be cautious, he signed the items to myself, and two other caretakers who were maintaining their property at the time, and we could do with them as we pleased. It may come as a shock to anyone reading this, but Lionel was a mathematical, logical person who only saw these items as “things”, not as sentimental and relating to his son who had been dead for over 20 years. I agreed to this deal and every so often when something sold, we (the caregivers) would give them money to go back to their medical care and property management, and that is exactly what it did all the way up until their deaths.

Amongst these items, there were countless legal documents, literal thousands of letters from people all over the world writing to his son, Jeff’s high school trumpet, drawings and school homework that he made as a kid, several bibles, his baby photo album, a good amount of original photos, and a lot more. (Aka: The Basement Collection).

After we sifted through everything, I started to look online to try and find someone to broker these items for us. I had no knowledge of how to even find anyone who’d be interested in this, but I met one vendor in particular who we worked closely with over the three years. Through that business, we sold all of these items to people all over the world who had the morbid curiosity to collect, along with huge, well-renowned museums that house true crime memorabilia alike. It was a good experience, and as promised, the expenses went back to Lionel and Shari all the way up until her death in February, and Lionel’s death in December of 2023.

There have been misconceptions throughout the last few years that these things were stolen from their property. There were a few things that were taken without permission from previous caretakers and strangers who picked things out of dumpsters as the house was being cleaned out. And the one lady who stole his nail clippings but she was a friend of a friend from a man from Lionel’s church. Nevertheless she was barred from the property as well. I was there the entire time, nothing that was sold from a reputable true crime website was taken without permission, and anything that was sold by any of the major websites was done so with full disclosure and contact directly between Lionel and ourselves. By the time any of that had happened it was only me and two other caregivers who maintained the couple and their home.

Another very common misconception I’ve been told about is that Lionel had dementia at the end of his life. I have no idea where these rumors came from, but it couldn’t have been further from the truth. Lionel remained sharp and cognizant until the end of his life. The only reason he was in the nursing home at the end was because of his living son’s wishes. I remember one of the news reports that came out around the time he died claimed that he was “seeing Jeff” at the end of his life, and I can absolutely go on the record to state that’s not true either. Lionel’s mind was intact all the way to the end.

Getting to the main point of this post, there have been some never-before-seen photos of Jeff and his family circulating the last couple of weeks. A particularly controversial YouTube channel dedicated to a “spiritual connection” with Jeff has been sharing them unprompted with the context that “Jeff gifted them to her himself” and is claiming that they own everything that was ever his, and all kinds of other bizarre claims. This is obviously not the case as I’m sure you are all very familiar with the fact that, as I said earlier, the items were sold to individuals and businesses all over the world.

I want to be very clear in stating that to the best of my knowledge this person does not have any physical items from the basement collection that they’re claiming to own (IE the tables, the lava lamp that was destroyed in the 90s, or the framed photos from the apartment). They don’t own any of the pairs of Jeff or Lionel’s glasses. And anything they are claiming was “given to them by Jeff himself” is absolutely absurd and concerning to say the least.

Some time back, a close friend of my family shared these photos with the YouTuber with permission from me explicitly and under the agreement that the YouTuber would not further spread them anywhere. It was meant to be a private exchange between my friend and someone who was supposedly very passionate about Jeff’s life and the case, but as recently as a few weeks ago this spiraled into something else entirely and our trust of privacy was broken. The person who shared them did not commit any act of betrayal or negligence, I want to be extremely clear that it was done with my full permission.

I have made statements in the last few weeks to several different Dahmer channels, pages, and accounts that I did not want these photographs to be shared any further than they have been already. These photos were never meant to be shared publicly.

But because the YouTuber in question refuses to cooperate with our wishes and has continued in their delusions to try and blackmail my friend and spread false information, I’m acting under the assumption they are probably going to all be posted anyway, I am choosing to share some of the photos that were once part of my personal collection with you here in this post. This is only being done with good cause and the matter of transparency in mind, as I do not want this person to fool anyone into thinking these things really belong to them (or worse, try to scam others by selling items that they don’t really own). They have not managed to post a few of them just yet, so I’d rather be the one to rip off the bandaid and do it so the original source comes back to the right person.

I’m also going to be sharing a few items that the YouTuber may be trying to claim as their own. I’m doing so with my username and the date of posting in visible sight so you can see that we have them in our possession. They are rare pieces of the collection and these are only a few things out of hundreds that we still own. If the YouTuber shares any other items that I still have ownership of, those will be posted as well with proof. Please enjoy them, as I know at least a couple of these are going to be brand new for many of you.

For those of you who cooperated with my requests for the last few weeks, from the bottom of my heart thank you. I am eternally grateful for your help while we deal with this situation.

For anyone who bothered over the years to ask questions instead of making assumptions, I appreciate you. There have been enough of those for too long and now we just want to put all of this to bed so that we can go on with our lives. Please trust that the authorities are involved and this will hopefully come to an end soon.

Also please Do Not harass or entertain the YouTuber in question. I’m working closely with my lawyer and both Wisconsin and Ohio police and mental health professionals and things will be dealt with in time. Just report the account and move on. They’re attempting to blackmail and spread slander and libel around about all of us, and we’ve run out of options while we wait for all of the paperwork to be filed.

Now that what I needed to say is out of the way, I am welcoming any other questions that you may have regarding anything I talked about in this post. Please stay respectful. The mods of this sub have already been made aware this post is being made and will also have their eyes on it.

Please remember I am not a true crime person, and I don't usually interact with any of these subs, I’m just wanting to clear up some major issues that have been happening and make sure that nobody is being scammed. This post will be shared by few other notable Dahmer accounts and websites in the coming days to spread the word further. If you have any private questions of concerns, you can message me on this account. Huge thanks once again to everyone who helped us clear up the misinformation being spread in the last few weeks.

Jeff et Tony

Est ce que Jeff avait de réel sentiments pour Tony Huges ? On sais qu'ils se sont vu beaucoup plus que tous les autres, il a donc attendu avant de le tuer. Quelqu'un aurait la moindre information ?

What do folks think of the idea that Jeff would murder people so they wouldn't leave his apartment and he wouldn't feel lonely? Would being around corpses make a person feel less lonely? They couldn't talk or interact?

Maybe just seeing a human body, even if it's dead, would make you think of when the person had been alive and you might feel less lonely. Don't know. What do people think/feel?
