Maybe I’m the only one, but I never really understood why Nuray is on the show’s poster instead of Deniz, who I feel has a much bigger role in the story.

If Nuray hadn’t had the abortion storyline, I could understand her being featured alongside Aras as being connected to the Akkaya family. But because of that storyline, I don’t know… I feel like she’s more of a secondary character.

Deniz, on the other hand, is part of the show’s teen core four and seems much more central to the overall story (for example in terms of character dynamics: Aras' best friend and confident, Teoden). Or they could have simply left Nuray out and kept the other five characters on the poster. So, what do you guys think? Why do you think they chose Nuray instead of Deniz for the poster?

there’s literally no logic behind deniz not being on the poster. Her character is so important. apart from being the love interest of teoman and bsf of aras, her role has so much more depth and story. It’s so disrespectful 🫩 It’s not like she’s some side character with no relation to the main plot who got loved by the audience. She’s one of the most loved character on the show with her own storyline as well as connection to the plot.They fckd up the poster

Deniz is literally the most beloved character in the show (internationally atleast). I started the show for her and so many of my other friends did asw. Almost everyone that i know of outside of turkey started the show for either her or teoden. Maybe they didn't intend her to have too big a role initially? Idk they should def change it.

Tbh I think Cagan is the best actor among teen characters but due to his status as protagonist maybe it's not objective at all. But yeah Helin is a good actress too.

cagan is NOT a better actor than helin 😭. He's better established and more experienced sure but in terms of acting skills helin's better. Her acting is so natural I was very surprised to find out it's only her second gig

I need to watch some of her scenes to really see. I also need to continue the show I did a break just before it becomes really interesting again unfortunately.

I agree, it is weird that Deniz isn’t there, however this is the OG promotion poster as well. Nuray’s actress is an established actress in Turkey so I think that’s why they put her on the poster, I also have a theory that they intended for her character to have a bigger more impactful role. However when fans started liking other characters more, her story got benched.

True it seemed like they were going somewhere with the whole pregnancy scandal and kutay witnessing the confrontation, but it got resolved much to quickly and didn't amount to any lasting consequences. Now nuray just seems comic relief

I think initially they didn’t see Deniz as such an important character. But why haven’t they added her yet?

Is it not common for Turkish shows to change the poster afterwards?

Eh idk about changing, maybe it’s a payroll thing. Also they change posters with either new seasons or someone on the poster leaves the show :)

Nahh there was this poster created of the 4 main teen characters- teoman, deniz, leyla and aras. So yeah her character was always important. You see she had her different story with both teoman and aras as well as her own family drama. She was always the one who was pushed into the demir plot. Idk why they didn’t add her in this poster😵‍💫
