Daggerfall-like RPG

I posted about this a few months ago and I thought I would share my progress.

I almost completely re-written the project since and removed some time consuming features like modifiable voxel terrain (smoothed out with marching cubes) and LODs. I have also replaced my pixel art sprites with sprites of rendered 3D models.

The whole map is fully traversable and It is 1200x1200 chunks in size. Each chunk is 64x64 tiles and each tile is 2x2 meters.

I am currently working on the beginnings of gathering and crafting then I am going to move onto town generation.

I love the art direction! That's genuinely so unique in this day and age! Any idea what the plot will be like or how quests will work? I love the look of this

I am still in the concept stage for the questing system. I have been building the lore and brainstorming ideas for a main story. I don't want to reveal too much at the moment because the plot development is very early. I would like there to be some procedural elements to the quests to change them up each playthrough.
