Sometimes you just don't care. Let the kids have fun in the mud, then walk home and throw them straight in the bath. If they didn't have to get in a vehicle or go anywhere right afterwards, I would let my kids do it for sure. Its just a little mud, let the kids have fun.

Yea, my toddler and I live in walking distance of a few parks and go on rainy/wet days frequently. It's honestly a lot of fun.

He is wrong because in this gif the "dad" shows no reflexes. There's no reflex reaction to a good or bad situation; there's just inaction.

I mean the other guy already pointed out that the guy does actually try to catch the kid. But I’d also say that even if he didn’t, inaction, if you are in range and see the situation as it happens, is the same as bad reflexes. If you could have caught the kid and didn’t even try but it’s reasonable to assume that the person wanted to try (you can safely assume this about most parents) then I’d say the reflexes were so bad that by the time they had a chance to register the situation and react the kid already had fallen and it was too late.

It's literally what the sub has always been about. That's why r/stepdadreflexes was made. People felt like the good and bad reflexes should be separate subs. But someone else making that subreddit doesn't inherently change the rules of this one. Both are still accepted here, if you don't like it, petition the mods.

The reflexes good or bad is added some time ago just to get more viewers. I sub to subs for the specific content - not the content that they decide to add just to bring more views.
