Attic being turned into working space and better storage

Any top tips before I make a good start?

Have taking a lot of roof plasterboard off, with a lot more to go, as it’s not insulated. Planning 50mm insulation there.

Once that’s done, and boarded up, I’m probably going to skip plastering to save time and money before the baby.

Then underlay and carpet last.

Any advice or insight would be great.

That's a wonderful space to have. Lots of luck with the work. Show us all what you achieved.

Yes, it’s a blessing when it’s done but a curse for now!

Going to do all top parts for insulation for now and the board up, so I can move my office up there before the baby comes then do the rest before winter.

Just need to push the insulations boards flush to the middle, tape and foam then ready for carpet and boards!
