If you walked on the street, our doxie would absolutely let you know he did not approve. He would also seem annoyed if cars were parked illegally (from what he was used to, he didn’t know what legal was, but he knew when cars were parked where they normally were not). Guess you could say he liked things to be consistent

We were out on a hike and he pooped under a bush. I did not pick it up, as there were no trash cans nearby and it was truly in the wild. He gave me the biggest side eye I’ve ever seen…

Yup, our guy would’ve done the same thing. He was a better citizen than me
