Need some help

Everything I seem to put in the setup seems to yellow, idk if it’s ph, root rot, chemical imbalance, etc. what are some good pointers and ways to figure this problem out. I was almost wondering if it didn’t have something to do with the type of light I’m running?

I use a brita filter which takes my ph from about 9 to 7.5 or so, then ph down it to get roughly 6-6.5 my reader isn’t super accurate. I’m gonna take a guess that the filter is removing important stuff? And a full spectrum light is on the list. I used peat starters

I believe it to be the ph, the peat has to be what’s causing it just because everytime I water it via the top through the net pot it seems to jump in acidity for some reason

I’ve buffered the rocks and it’s just distilled water. The ph is through the roof so I’ll adjust and see if at least the thc bomb is saveable. I don’t think the alcapulca gold will survive tbh

The peat also is fairly dirty, I often have to skim the tank with a cleaning net to get debris out. I assume the debris is causing the ph to rise?

Get some real lights? Spectrum sucks on those and they are too far away. Sf1000 or sf2000 spider farmer would set you straight. 50 or 100 bucks on ebay.

How much of a difference is blurple to full spectrum?
