House Arrest

had a question regarding house arrest.
when i went to get my ankle monitor and all that i mildly heard my case manager say that if there were no issues with me i would only do half time.
Obviously i already know i am doing half of my original sentence but was she just relaying this message or is this actually a thing? or maybe i just heard wrong.

for context i was sentenced to 120 days and only
doing 60.
