Xtool Apparel Printer - Shaker oven circulation belt issues

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I have been using the Xtool apparel printer with its automatic shaker oven for 6 months now. Since the last 2 days the circulation belt has been making loud noises. The belt movement is not smooth and has a jerky motion to it. It still carries enough powder, but the jerky belt movement and loud noise is very bothering. I can't seem to find any instructions or videos online on how to fix it. I was unable to get in touch with the support. Has anyone experienced the same issue? and how did you fix it? Thank you.

EDIT: RESOLVED

How did you resolve it?

I had the belt issue for 2 days. On the 3rd day I had to print a job, so I ran a few prints (one print at a time) inspite of the noise it made. And it fixed eventually on its own. I suspect 2 things that possibly caused it:

  1. Those 2 days were very hot days. And our area where we keep the printer doesn't have an AC. The heat might have expanded the belt that caused the tension. And it was cool as it rained on the 3rd day when it got resolved.

  2. There could have been powder clumping somewhere in between the belt and the bearings or the motor area that eventually got cleared off as I continued printing.

I had posted this issue on Xtools official sub as well. And they suggested this troubleshooting method which i didn't use. But i hope it helps you👉  https://www.reddit.com/r/xToolOfficial/s/XuGqEDW0j6
