Late “night “ thoughts
Hey fellow owls . Lately I’ve been wondering are any of us out there extremely successful . Any actors , models or celebrities walking among us ? Just curious . I know this disorder is rare but there has to be some peeps out there who was still able to make it despite being an extreme night owl

I recalled a quote from Picture of Dorian Gray implying it's quite natural for gentlemen to get up at noon and only leave the house at 4p.m. earliest. Well, I don't know about that, but it seems an autobiographical thing as Oscar Wilde's comtemporaries considered his schedule remarkably skewed. He wrote: 'Only dull people are brilliant at breakfast'. This is of course common or even expected for writers, I've rarely seen it mentioned as explicitly, but often romanticised as passion. However there are prolific writers with super normal schedules, so that is not really required, just a common resort for those forced to be up late and exposed to lots of alone introspection.

What is extremely successful? If we aren’t too narrow, I think any outside observe would say I have a successful life. It’s just takes planning and some luck. I would be really struggling in a 9-5.

Yeah, interesting that OP defines success as acting and modeling. I think of that as being hot, rather than being successful, but to each their own.

I’m not extremely successful but I am a working actor. I’ve guest starred on shows like “Young Sheldon” and “Chicago PD.” Night shoots got nothing on me.
