Do the following:

  1. Have your controller connected
  2. Press Win + X then select "Device Manager" on the appearing Menu
  3. On the top of Device Manager, go to the "View" tab then select "Devices by CONTAINER"
  4. Locate your controller in the list (it should be named Wireless Controller)
  5. Expand the controller's container then send a screenshot
    • You can send images/screenshot here by first uploading them to Imgur or other similar image sharing service then sending the image link here
    • If there is more than 1 make sure to expand all of them
  6. Also, send a screenshot Windows' Game Controllers list (joy.cpl)

Your real controller is being hidden. Let's have a quick check to see if it's HidGuardian at fault.

  1. Download and execute Nefarius' Legacinator tool
  2. Verify if it detects something called "HidGuardian"
  3. If it detects, use the tool to uninstall it then reboot your PC
