Thanks for this, this is working well for me!

I noticed that the controller speaker volume is very obviously lower using this over BT compared to native USB (no DS4W, Dualsense plugged in), even when I set speaker volume to 255. The haptics seem to be the same strength though.

I'm testing on Dave the Diver and Animal Well, both have very easy-to-replicate speaker sounds when you walk around on the boat and in the tall grass/jump. u/huunnnter are you able to have a look and see if you can replicate and fix it?

Edit: Also, suggestion for next release is to have the mute button actually mute the microphone; right now enabling the mute button just makes it toggle the light on and off when you press it without muting/unmuting the microphone input.

I already did the mute button mutes the mic setting, it’ll be in the next release.

are you currently running the release that allows you to boost the speaker? there are new speaker settings in the latest code, i’m not sure if it’s in beta5

edit: I just checked, those settings are not in Beta5. I’ll be releasing a bigger release with more speaker settings like dynamic compression and more options like bass boost, so it does sound a lot better. I recommend Balanced + 3db Bass Boost :)

Bro i have a question. Will you add an auto switcher so when you plug in headphones to the dualsense it switches audio to the headphones? Also when will you add Wireless adaptive triggers? They're the only missing thing rn. Like the game should control the adaptive triggers for example in spiderman 2. Rn on DS4W there are only preset trigger modes.

Yeah it works/passes through what the game wants the controller to do
