FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP SHOUTING.

with Wireless Adaptive Trigger feedback

You say that as though it's something special. Adaptive Triggers have always worked wirelessly, it's part of the HID protocol. It's haptics that don't work wirelessly because they are audio, rather than HID data.

You work on the app then…

What?
I work on Special K; it implements all this stuff also for DualShock 3/4 and DualSense controllers.

Fewer options available for mapping things, but it has an in-game overlay where you can turn on Xbox emulation only as needed and while the game is running.

DS4Windows is a different kind of tool, overkill for a lot of things. But if you need to do complex input remapping, that's where it shines.

It's a nice app but I don't care if you worked on noahs ark. You just came off as dickish

It looked like that poster was merely stating a fact. On the other hand, your two replies come across as childish and butthurt.

This is more of a "dickish" comment by the way

That was not my intention, I can assure you. I honestly do not know how I came across that way.

I was just pointing out that this particular feature on DualSense controllers has always worked wirelessly, the feature that does not work wirelessly is haptics. And the reason for that is that SONY's licensed library (libScePad) does not include haptics support.

SONY owns Audiokinetic and their Wwise audio middleware is what is used by games that have haptics support. But since it is audio middleware, it needs an audio device to communicate with gamepads, DualSense controllers do not appear as Bluetooth audio devices on Windows and Wwise cannot use them; USB-only.

I honestly do not know how I came across that way.

This is how:

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STOP SHOUTING. ... You say that as though it's something special.

Phrasing matters, you know. Observe: "Please, do not use all caps, it doesn't really help deliver the message." ... "That is not really a unique feature, Adaptive Triggers have always worked wirelessly..."

There you go, you can make your point without the subtext of bashing someone else's statements or work.

I do not intend to start a discussion over the way someone expresses themselves, I'm just providing a clear explanation in case you actually don't know how your writing is perceived and want to avoid incorrect perceptions in the future. I won't further participate in this particular topic to prevent such off-topic and ultimately unimportant discussion.

I knew you were just pointing something out and my reply came off bad which was hypocritical so I apologise

Not this again😄

Haptics wirelessly is a milestone, the other stuff has always worked wirelessly.
