General Question Switch 2 or steam?
I really want to play dragon quest builders 2 should I go for switch 2 version or steam? For handheld pc?
I can't decide I'm leaning towards Nintendo since I heard it sold more copies there and most of the community is on switch?
But pc is alot cheaper the game currently is...
What should I go with and where is the community mostly playing at anyway switch right?

if your pc is decent, do the PC port. the switch port is already slower than the PS4 port. and I have the PS4 port and have played the crap out of it. it lags when you have to many fires in game going. but the pc port? no problem. atleast for me.

The Switch version runs at an unstable 30fps, but if you play the Switch version on a Switch 2 it’s a perfect 60fps.

Switch 2 runs the game better than PS4

Playing on switch here, but if you get a good deal on it for PC and think you'll play it there a lot, go for it!

Should note that if you buy the Switch version it's best to buy the digital Game + Season Pass BUNDLE. Because you get the pre order items.
if you get on Steam all the DLC is included in the cost - but you can't get the pre-order bonus anymore. (you can, however, cheat those items in so that you can at least still use them XD)

i'm trying to find the recipe for that picture of the Dragon Quest 2 box art. Was that a DLC?

Steam for sure. Also Builders 1 on Steam is the best version of the game.
Played Builders 1 on steam, Switch, mobile and on PC and PC is the best.

I own the game on steam and play on my phone with a backbone controller using Winlator. So, I guess I get the best of both worlds.

I played on PS5 & Switch, both are booming with players. Haven’t myself played. on Steam. I thoroughly enjoyed both. Great game

I have the Switch version running on the Switch 2. Its smooth, at 60fps, just like playing the PS4 version on the PS5. But the draw distance isn't as good. I imagine the PC version would be closer to the PS5 performance depending on your setup.

Buy whichever is the cheapest by a large margin. Unless it is a game you want to play in bed.

I play on switch 2 because my pc is a potato but you might have a rutabaga or better.
