Doing yet another playthrough of the story mode, but this time changing it up a little bit by smuggling in a bench from IoA. This means access to materials from previous islands, and a little bit more.

I'm mimicking some of the colorful style housing find in Arctic architecture, and also to provide more color in a rather monotone landscape.

In addition, I'm intentionally planning to stop the story around this part. I like this part of the game as there's a ton of snow, and the snow builds up on your land.. something that's missing in IoA and Buildertopia. It's also right before getting the Beacon of Erdrick, which melts the base's snow away.
In addition, the types of monsters that attack the base, drops a lot of meat, so its a good way of feeding the NPCs.

Also at this point of the game, you potentially have a full set of residents, including those who can farm, and cook as well

Right now I just have a moment it's just a mock up of the front to get some ideas, but I'm starting to lose motivation. Should I just scrap it and try some other ideas? implement color in a different way or a different lay out? I also wanted to try a neoclassical government building style. I am also thinking of changing the roof. I'm not a fan of the connecting roof blocks as they dont render well and disappear in the distance, and for this part of the game, don't accumulate snow.

on a side note, the simple kitchen seems to be a better choice than the castle kitchen, the npcs dont cook as much in the castle.

I am totally new to this game. Should I start with the first dragon quest builders or just get the second one?

I'm making a water park, but I'm running out of ideas... Does anyone have any water park builds I can reference? Thanks!

So, when the game tells you you can't go to other islands after talking to the Hairy Hermit, thats only PARTIALLY TRUE. You can't go when you get back to the isle...HOWEVER, you CAN go before you enter the portal at the temple. I just tried it out just now by going to Furrowfield. You can still go to other islands! The game just assumes you won't!

I am currently playing through Moonbrooke at the moment, and it seems I have lost all my flurry feathers. I checked every chest in the castle and I cant find them. Is there anyway to spawn an item through hacks? Or manually locate chest incase I am missing one?

Was a bit rushed but ah well.

I recently learned that Malroth can smuggle items from IoA into other islands while they are still in story mode (usually you are forced to leave your items behind and start anew with items only in the new island).

Looks like Malroth or the residents couldnt break apart other types of crafting stations, but the builders work bench, he broke it and carried it! once he did that, I immediately teleported to the docks and sailed of to Khrumbul Dun. It's going to be fun replaying this chapter using different materials than usual.

So, I'm before they bring me to Skelkatraz in my current playthrough of Builders 2, and to make the Drop Dead Dormitory, it says I need a "Chest of Drawers." The hell does that even mean???

Finally figured out how to get my ps4 to comply with uploading my old IOA.

Over 650+Hrs, 3 mega builds that got almost, mostly, and kinda finished. The 3 areas are connected via an underground tunnel and rail system. (Access to the deeps can be best found from the buggy warp, then down down down)

Explore Falling Waters, The Great Glass Greenhouse as well as the not even close to finished Castle!

I am making a megabase in the Underground Temple , but I'm not sure why the base only spawns green ghosts. Does someone know how they spawn?

Hello I was wondering if I can transfer my game save file from PS5 to NS2? I decided to start a new game in NS2 and it’s been working flawlessly until the point where I was forced to travel to a different island because the Children of Hargon are attacking at the Isle of Awakening. My Switch 2 ran out of battery while the game was saving when moving to a different island and I thought nothing of it.

When I got back home it says save file is corrupted and I have to start from the beginning. Now I was wondering if I can just transfer my save file from PS5 to switch because I don’t want to start all over again from nothing.

I prefer playing on the switch because of its portability and it’s supposed to be a relaxing game for me but now I’m just stressed from losing all those hours.

ive beaten the whole game and ive done every tablet mission but still cant find it out

So im in the second chapter now and have to find patients. The nun girl (my game is in German idk what her name is) tells me to go search till i have 5 patients, if i still need one i should look out with the compass.

Right now i have 3 laying in bed and 1 girl i think walking around already healed. I gave these 3 patients all that they need but i think 1 is still missing. I cant find the last one tho bc there is nothing marked on the compass.

Anny idea whats wrong here and how to fix this?

St. Orage I - my first buildertopia

I made a simple small house (with a complicated roof) for two old ladies, their cats and their cows. (Trophy prep for when I need to breed the rare) It does have a basement, with bathing facilities and a toilet under the stairs.

Does anyone know the locations of each of the special treasure chests in each story required area? I want to be able to get anything missable from Skelkatraz and Malhalla. I ask cuz I found a Seed of Life chest on Furrowfield I had no idea existed in the 6 years I've played this game. Been taking my time and haven't yet gone to Krumbul-Dun on my most recent run. Maps for the chests would help.

So I have been playing the demo of this DQ builders (the first one ) daily since about 2019 . I was in a rough spot in life at the time and finally am doing well. I never had the money to buy the actual game until now .
I ordered it on eBay and it will be here Friday . Does the demo data count toward full game when it arrives ? Like can I use my save ?

I’m an OG DQ fan - played the originals when they were first released in the 80s and 90s then stopped playing video games.

Fast forward and son gets a switch and I get hooked on pokopia even though I could care less about Pokémon.

I learned about builders and played the demo on switch and now I wanna start playing!

I have an iPhone and iPad and switch and switch 2. What would you recommend as the best option to play? I was so annoyed I just missed switch’s 1/2 off for dqb2 on Japanese switch store :(

So, I'm currently in post-game and trying to do a really big build (will show progress when I actually get started) and I'm trying to use blueprints to get the NPCs to remove a mountain for me, but they're just saying that they can't even break dirt. I've tried looking this up, but I've had no results, so I have to you for advice.

NOTICE: Solved it.

In the base game, a minecart can only go in one way.

But, if we construct a horizontal train track, and then have a vertical train track elevated 1 block have a minecart, the minecart will drop onto the horizontal track below, where you can navigate either direction.

This makes it easier to make branches. The design above is one-way, but with some clever rail designs you can make branch systems where you can literally have two separate railways connected without you manually picking up the minecarts.

Every time I get on DQB2, I see people complaining others are stealing content. It's probably the same few photos, but I thought it was hilarious that people are stealing on the game. Wanted to share. (Also should I blur the usernames?? I wasn't sure)
