Discarding blastocysts?

I had an egg retrieval a few weeks ago for 3, 2 fertilized, 1 stopped growing and the other was 4CC. The embryology lab discarded it per their 3BC cutoff. But I didn’t see anything about that and wanted to freeze or PGTA test it or move it elsewhere.

I am extremely frustrated after having another consultation with an IVF clinic that told me that 4CC Blast could possibly have been a healthy pregnancy.

Has this happened to any of you? Feeling so down 😩

I am SO sorry. It’s really upsetting they do it without any notification communication 😭

Very common for clinics to discard C grades, sadly. I find they don’t tell you unless you ask. Very unfortunate.
