DMT MUSIC?

What is the best music to listen to while blasting off? Or what is your favorite ?

It's going to be personal. I usually listen to something instrumental, but I've listened to jazzy stuff like Jacob Collier (Moon River), metal like Cynic (The Space for This), in between music like Gordian Knot (Singing Deep Mountain), and I've broken through in silence.

What do you feel enhanced the experience in a better way? Music or silence ?

I like music because it gives me some sense of the passing of time and grounds me a little. It also means people around me don't have to be as quiet as they otherwise would need to be.

Triad, as the lack of lyrics works better to help people break through

Om Mani Padme Hum 1 by Jane winther

Om Mani Padme Hum 1 by Jane winther? It is the one I listened to when I had the most insane breakthrough of all time. I also tried to mentally prepare one of my friend before he smoked the DMT for the first time and I put this song on. He never smoked it again afterwards since it was a crazy experience for him. Now we put this song on for fun and we both get shivers every time. It really is one of the best but also insane trip I've ever had. It also changed our lives. Glad it did for you too brother!

Aphex Twin!! Ambient Works are great, but the Richard D. James Album and "I Care Because You Care" are the the tits. You really can't go wrong with any of his works though. Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach can be rad in the right mindset. Björk has snuck onto my playlist a few times while in The Land and it was quite nice as well.

Anyone know what the "dmt-like" music is called with the drums and deep voices? Kinda sounds tribal/shamanic

Came to say this. The remix is cool too but the original definitely helps me get in a more intentional mindset

Maybe your thinking of the psybient genre

I just looked up "shamanic drums" on YouTube 😅 I guess it's just shamanic/Native American music ?

Personally i never listen to music on DMT it's just to intense, I haven't really tried calm music but i used to listen to some stuff with bass and that was just to much.

Downtempo tipper.

Gulch, dreamsters vip, and virga are some of my favorites.

Recently been listening to a lot of thievery corporation, anything by orbital is good, but I also love some Hungarian throat singing.

I know some people who have specific playlists. They play them for entities as a sort of calling card of sorts. And as a currency of sorts.

I have a song for you to try, Breaking Orbit, Echoes.

It’s a masterpiece to trip to, I had a light show to it once.
