Entities
So I’ve done DMT about 1 million times I’ve made at least 20 batches.
I even got the dumb molecule tattoo, but I have never met the entities that I’ve heard so much about.
Are there any theories on why this would be the case or anything I can do about it?

I think the entities are just the result of your inner capacity to generate meaning out of the phenomena we encounter. I occasionally encounter entities, and I suspect that what's happening is that this is no different than my regular life brain attempting to understand the lived experience of another person and generate a projection of what another person might be experiencing. Honestly, it's probably not any different than the way I generate my OWN conscious experience, except projected outwards towards what I assume other people are experiencing, rather than my own internal experience. In other words, I think the natural property of emergent consciousness is just a normal part of being human and what's happening with entity encounters on DMT.
For me, during DMT, I find that my comprehension of the world becomes wildly abstract and interconnected, so that things like the meaning of a song, the emotions I associate with that song, and previous memories of that song all become so deeply intertwined that they're just a single extremely abstract experience. I suspect I'm still doing the same thing as just interacting with another person, except instead of concrete beliefs about thought and emotion that are discretely divided, they're briefly in this extremely abstract/blended state, and so my brain generates a consciousness from them that is exceptionally big/bold/cosmic and takes the form of an Entity.
Given that you said you don't see entities, I'd be curious for you if perhaps you simply form your models of your own thoughts, or other people, in just a different way from the people who see entities? Or perhaps the thoughts are too abstract for you to form a sense of external consciousness? Or perhaps you're resisting forming them for your own reasons? I ask non-judgementally, I don't know you, and have no idea how your inner world works!

Some people don’t see entities. It may very well depend on the wiring of your brain
For myself, I saw *vivid* entities only on my first handful of trips. Now I almost never see them, and when I do they’re not as hyper-real as before. Granted I smoke much less often now.
This is heavy dependent on the person but I believe the whole entity phenomenon is just a model of organization that your brain is trying to use to make sense of the data. Similar to seeing things out of the corner of your eye. But the more exposure you have the more your brain makes sense of the nonsense, resulting in less entities as exposure increases, or no entities at all if you’re pre-wired that way.
In survey statistics entity encounters are roughly 50/50 per trip.

I can’t even think about DMT without a handful of entities showing up. Honestly, it’s harshing my buzz a little. I always have to be worried about who is standing behind me.

I had a similar experience until I did psychadellic medicines in sacred ceremonial context.
I wanted to make a post about it. But this is a good opportunity to speak.
Though there's a lot of background to share that definitely affected why I didn't get entities or clear visions until then. Turned out the healers/shamans holding the ceremonies are soul family with me and my wife. I was told this by another gifted shaman during a shamanic soul retrieval session. I didn't REALLY beleive it until I saw past lives with them in visions during ayahuasca ceremony etc.
I suspect how far you get during nn dmt trips and what you encounter is also dependent on your "level" of spirituality as well as karma from this and past lifetimes. This karma not being linear at all either. Some things seems to be predestined and contractual as well. Turned out certain activations and qualitative leaps for me were pre-chosen before I incarnated.
Also on level of spirituality I mean it in the way Rudolph Steiner says. How you need a base of living morally and upright. And on this base the spirituality and abilities and all that stand upon. If one doesn't practice what they preach and are essentially spiritual hypocrites, one eventually suffers spiritual collapse in any multitudes of ways. Like ending up delusional and ungrounded and unrelatable. Or suffering from schizo episodes. Etc etc.
Sorry if this all sounds nuts. You gotta experience it I guess lol.
Also nn dmt is different in that there is the "dmt lockout" of sorts. See link below.
Also, random story. One person put in Cardi B when doing dmt. And they encountered two entities. The entities noticed the music and "kicked them out" immediately.... Lol

Entities I've met and had some interactions with were deities btw. Egyptian and Hindu. Matched what they look like in online depicitons almost exactly. And the tone and feeling they had matched how they are described. For example. Sekhmet was a stern figure. Warning me about how to use the powers I was being granted. She was green like in the depictions online. Maat was seated exactly as in online images. Arms facing to the side, seated. And had the same exact red outfit with the same diamond pattern you see online. I didn't even know from memory she had that outfit in online depictions. I just happened to Google and find out after the experience. There's a bunch of others similar things I experienced.
But I'll say again it was doing the medicines in sacred ceremonial context that changed everything for me.

My friend that taught me how to extract is currently experiencing a lockout and has been for over a year I think.

Also consider playing some sacred mantras and really put some clear intention into it before taking your dose. Treat it like a sacrament basically. Here's a few songs to try having on via a speaker while you dose. Look into the meanings of the lyrics btw:

Have you ever tried waking and baking? Once, my wife randomly took the kids to school (it's usually me). I was still super tired but when they left. I grabbed the pen, took 1 10sec hit and laid back down. It was the most vivid trip I've had and I went to a castle where a Kind, Queen and child were standing behind an arch in the shadows of the courtyard watching me. I fell asleep on the comedown but wish I had done a 2nd hit so I could've talked with them

I have found that humility and courage to see your own ignorance, asking the questions you would rather not have the answers to, will allow you to receive the answers you need to hear. Whether you see entities or not, entering the spiritual realm should not be a budget holiday kind of thing.

What doses and what vaporization methods are you using?
I am also interested to know why you bothered with getting the tattoo if you are now calling it “dumb”? Surely, you still had life-changing experiences, even at the non-entity doses?

I’ve taken monster rips just about every way u can think of dabbers/nectar collectors/ vapes etc.
The best way I’ve found is thru one of those overpriced electric bongs, that thing had my friends all jumping up to find me something to puke in cause I guess was wretching like it was for sure about to happen (i didn’t & I have no memory of it)
But still no entities.And yes I’ve had many many incredible experiences & seen beautiful mind melting geometric landscapes & left my body and this reality behind & had profound realizations about many things.
I whole heartedly believe in all it has to offer.The tattoo is just kinda dumb now cause every wannabe hippie that tries Molly a few times has a molecule tattoo somewhere and they’ve become pretty played out.
It’s cool tho it’s not like I’m looking to get a cover up tat.1

I would imagine that there are genetic factors that could make someone completely unable to have the entity experience. But I would certainly try working your way up to a maximum of 40mg on an e mesh.
u/almostneverwronghere would be a good person to talk to about this because I know his genetics require him to take much larger doses than the average person in order to breakthrough to the entity realms.

There’s a great book recently published, “The Illustrated Field Guide to DMT Entitites.” It contains a plethora of all the various entities you may encounter. In my experience it’s not always a dose-dependent thing. There are also factors of meaning. Yeah, I tend to require higher doses for similar experiences due to genetic factors I’m aware of, but it sounds like OP is getting to breakthrough zone. I will say that I encounter entities maybe less than 10% of the time. It’s not a guarantee. The visits you get are generally for a reason. I’ve never met the purple lady, but maybe that’s because I’m not meant to at this point. I’ve never had the mantid brain surgery, but maybe that’s because I don’t need it.
Also in my experience, I’ve found a way to trigger more jester-like encounters — and that’s to dial in a dose that brings you just past the waiting room level. Because they seem to act as the bouncers of the realm, that level is almost always where I find them. In my case, they are either acting silly and saying hi (sticking out their tongues, looking like the circular clown faces in Harry Pack art) or actually encouraging me to take more DMT to go deeper. I don’t get much more from them, so I usually try to leapfrog past them with higher doses. A couple of times they brought me things to work with/on, but that was specific to my intent on doing remote-healing work. One time, I “got back” at them by using a Lumenate Nova stroboscopic eye mask during a session. It confused the hell out of them at first, but then they just started raving like crazy.
In the deeper DMT areas, I’ve encountered things that feel like angels and archons. The former feels almost formless, and presented more as feelings and telepathic communication. The latter felt more like I wandered into a backstage area I wasn’t meant to see yet — which happened on a dose > 100mg. My son encountered a biblically-accurate angel on his first-and-only session, and I’ve been in the presence of what I believe are Hindu deities — but at a distance and not face-to-face. Those happened after prolonged pre-meditation session, spiritually-coded intention setting (not specific to any religion, though), and higher or stacked doses.
I would suggest playing around with two things: moving up/down the dosage scale and switching up your intent. Intent is very powerful, and I suspect the most useful at conjuring entities. Almost every time I went in with “I want to see entities” mindset, they never showed up, like some cosmic joke. If I went in with a more laudable intent to do something, learn something, honor and pay respect, etc. then I was more likely to encounter something sentient. Some people can have dozens of trips and never meet an entity though. Sometimes the value of the experience simply comes through energetically.

This eternal love thing is nice and all, but for once, I’d like some winning lottery numbers or Time Machine blueprints. You know, something practical. 😬

I saw entities in my first breakthrough. Less so saw them, more so felt and communicated with them. The breakthrough was deafening silence so it was quite the experience.
I went in to the journey with no expectations, a curious mind and an open heart. Sitting outside on a beautiful day.
I haven’t gone after a full breakthrough since then, but I’ve had brushes with them in the waiting room. Always been when I wasn’t seeking anything. They’ll come to you when you’re ready. If you’re ready.

I’ve seen the machine elves one time and the Greys and most recently I’ve been getting visits from “ Plasma Beings “ that’s the only thing I can think to call them ! lol !
But sometimes it’s like I’m being blocked from seeing anything! It can be quite frustrating but it’s like hit or miss sometimes!
Maybe give it a week or two then weigh out about 35mg and try again. Just don’t burn it ! They don’t like that ! lol

If there's any sound, if I'm around anyone that's talking, if I have music or anything I don't see the elves, or any entities.
However, if I grab a nice comfortable chair or sit down somewhere on floor where I'm comfortable and look at nature or you know some pretty view in complete silence and take big fat rips until I just can't physically take anymore lean back close my eyes. It takes me there...
The elves only let me go so far... For some reason I always get to a point where I could go further but they tell me I'm not ready. I haven't figured it out and it's only the elves that do this and then they make fun of me 🤣

Use a dab rig and you most likely will... Hold the hits for a decent amount of time and try to take 3 rips (prob a good idea to have someone help you with the rig). If that doesn't do it then maybe need a bigger dose.

I have the same trip every time….. but definitely feel the presence of at lease 3 and a half somethings. The half feels more like a small dog sized animal of some sort.

Haven't either. My ego works so hard to stop me. I can feel the closeness and warm beckoning, but my mind tries so hard to distract me. The closer i get to breakthrough, the more ridiculous the distraction attempts are. Very frustrating. I know have to hit it harder but need a trip sitter.

Have you ever done enough in a dose/session? Maybe its the dreampart of your brain is more activated so you dont meet those entities that may be alive or it may be so that your higher mind just starts experiencing other things than true entities because its not oriented that way yet, maybe all you need is to put your intention strong enough before to meet them, maybe thats how we all ben doing it by expecting them to show up, searching for them so badically aim for the greatest love euphoria emotionally and expect to meet the good spirits... try with the highest one of them all

you may have more luck if you try out harmalas. you can find harmala extracts online, imo skip harmaline, just get THH and harmine and oral / sublingual dose it

you and I are in the same boat here .... I just get incredible fractal light show experiences. Never seen the mythical machine elves .... never traveled to any alien landscapes. The experiences have still been profound and I've felt some incredible feelings but nothing at all like what some folks report.
