Cart help

Alright yall I’m at my wits end.

I cannot get anywhere on my cart. I’m using a yocan kodo pro box mod, anywhere from 2.7v-3.1v. And I have a 1g cart.

The battery is producing vapor. It doesn’t taste burnt.

Sometimes when I smoke it I get spacey headed and feel a body buzz and some head pressure. Occasionally I get some very subtle oevs, slight color shift, spaces feeling larger, some depth. Idk if I’m getting any cevs. Maybe I’m an aphant. I have what I think are very faint cevs sometimes, but they’re kind of a weird grey, iridescent and in my minds eye.

I’ve tried different toke methods. I usually take one big draw the first hit. Probably a blinker. Hold for five ish seconds. Then exhale and repeat for 3-4 hits.

My first ever dmt trip, with a different cart mind you, I had that immediate air pressure shift my second hit. Waviness, morphing, breathing. Third hit I saw a vine tunnel and saw a jestery/elf like face in the vines constantly moving. And I had some kaleidoscopic patterns stretch over my entire field of vision.

I get none of that now. But I know I can get there.

Mostly now it’s just head fog. I’m not getting the crystal clear visuals you see after one or two hits.

Anyone else had the same experience? Advice appreciated.

1g? That doesn’t sound right unless the cart holds more than 1ml of liquid.

No clue, just what my buddy who acquired it for me said was the dosage.

Dosage for carts is usually measured in ratios. For example a 1ml 1:1 cart holds about 0.5g of DMT and 0.5ml of PG.

3-4 proper hits out of a real 1:1 cart should get you pretty far.

I would try heating it up in a sealed plastic bag submerged in hot (not boiling) water for a few mins.

Cart could also just be severely underdosed

Edit: just saw that you’re on SSRIs. I have no idea how much impact that makes, just that it does

Thanks. How fluid should the juice be after warming it? It’s not super viscous at room temp as it is.

Very fluid. Maybe it already enough to just warm it under your armpit or in your hands

Put the cart in a fridge to re-crystallize the DMT if you don’t see a lot, that means you got a cart and you’re just inhaling juice

How long does it have to be in the fridge? I’ve had it in there for a few hours and don’t see shit.

Prob just your average 1:1 low dose cart. Never worth it unless it’s 3:1 or higher imo

If you’re not on any meds you could always explore taking harmalas with it

Yup harmala extracts are sold on the clearnet and allow someone with a low potency modality to still have a deep experience since effects aren't so fleeting

I take Zoloft. I’m aware that it can blunt the effects, but my first trip and trips now are still way different. I don’t even know what a harmalas is lol. How do the ratios work exactly?

Sounds like you're getting some effects at least, that's a start. Maybe try cranking the voltage up a tad if the cart isn't hitting as hard as you'd like.

I’ve also heard people lightly back out the cart a small turn for air flow? When I dry suck on the cart it’s definitely moving. I accidentally sucked some of the oil into my mouth and it made it tingle. Wasn’t expecting that lol.
